I stayed at SameSame for a month in June 2026, and I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere, great vibes, and strong sense of community made it feel like home.
What really sets SameSame apart is its genuine focus on bringing people together. From the weekly community dinners and Sunday brunches to the activities organized by the team throughout the week, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with others and become part of the community.
It was an unforgettable stay, and I’m already hoping to keep my schedule free for another month at SameSame in June 2027!
Stayed at SameSame for about 3 weeks on my first trip to Lisbon and had a great time. The space is well maintained and the location is great, especially if it’s your first time in Lisbon.
The community aspect is best part of staying at SameSame. The community led events and friendliness of the co-livers made all the difference. Would definitely make my way back to SameSame when I have the chance.
We made reservations via AirBnb and weren’t disappointed. Our host was very kind and jovial and made it a point to check in. The property itself was very spacious. Like most places, the tiny elevator made checking in/out challenging but that’s expected.
Locations couldn’t be better - this is walking distance from convenience store, Tram 28 starting point near Martim Moniz, lots of restaurants and dangerous for your wallet hotspot - Zara!
Try the restaurant serving hot and freshly made Bifana sandwiches next door. Servers and owner are very kind.
100% recommended! I was here for almost a month and had an amazing stay. The community vibe is the highlight, from Sunday brunches to Tuesday dinners and movie nights with wine.
The coworking space is spacious and super comfortable. I stayed in both a studio and a room —everything was clean, quiet, and cozy. I loved the balance of staying in the quieter Madalena building and heading over to Beco every night to socialize.
Best of all, they were incredibly welcoming to my dog, Pulga! The staff is wonderful and helps you with everything. A true home away from home in Lisbon! 🇵🇹✨
This is a great coliving! Everything is super clean and it is really community focused. The co-working space is great, the rooms are comfortable, and the people and volunteers were all amazing. At Sunday brunch you sit together and plan the week out and what activities everyone wants to do. Definitely recommended!
I believe in Madalena the living room area could be made into a yoga space / gym area as everyone always uses Beco to hang out in. Something to consider! :)
I stayed at this coliving for more than 5 weeks and I had a truly wonderful time! The location is very central, so all the sights in Lisbon are within easy walking distance.
I had a private double room with a bathroom in the Madalena building, which was quite quiet. I also had access to the community room in the Beco building. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Once a week, the room was cleaned after a quick check-in with me.
A special highlight was the community – I met so many great people and really felt at home! They organize regular activities, and you can also suggest your own ideas. It was lovely that you could always reach out to the management or the volunteers with any questions, and they regularly checked in to see if everything was going well.
Additionally, there is a coworking space that you can use, including a meeting room for appointments and a phone booth for calls.
One small downside is that there’s no washing machine, but that was mentioned on the website before. There’s a laundry shop just a few minutes' walk away.
All in all, it was a fantastic stay and I’d love to come back!
I stayed at SameSame for four weeks, and it was my first true coliving experience.
I arrived without clear expectations and left with a new family, countless stories, and a positive change from the experience. Is it perfect? No, but neither is any family. What matters is that the staff listens to feedback and works to improve and fix issues.
Special mention to the volunteers: they created an incredible vibe and helped build a the community day after day. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, SameSame can truly leave a mark on you.
Practical notes: The location is right in the city center, super convenient, and everything is close. The trade-off is that central Lisbon can be crowded and more expensive than other areas. I stayed at Beco: beautiful common spaces, and rooms are simple/essential but still have everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. There’s no in-house laundry, but there’s a shared laundromat very close by.

I’ve stayed at SameSame twice now and will continue to come back. I had an amazing time there and have made incredible memories! It really feels like a second home.
The coliving experience here is the best I’ve experienced, with weekly community dinners and breakfasts and so many activities to enjoy together so you’re always busy. It really feels like you’re part of a family staying here, and I’ve made many genuine friends from my visits.
The team are all such lovely people, and the rooms are beautiful. You can tell so much thought has been put into the design to make it homely! Plus, the coworking is a great space to work from so it’s ideal for digital nomads.
I really recommend SameSame for anyone wanting to experience Lisbon and make new connections with awesome people! ✨
