Nice and cosy place. It's a good place to stay with kids. Also the cook in the hotel is great... the food was delicious.
Recently had the pleasure to stay at Valentina Heights, friends had stayed there before and now respect the decision to go back, Was kept clean and tidy and the staff were happy to cater for any need. Breakfast was great and had a few drinks in the hotel bar in the evening too. Also had the pleasure of meeting Christian the Manager, who was very interesting and helpful.
I plan to go back to Bansko next year and will definitely be staying again!
I had a wonderful month long stay at Valentina Heights in Bansko. Personally, I've been traveling all year and Valentina Heights has been one of my best stays so far.
The room I stayed in was something you'd expect straight out of a 5-star hotel suite but at a much more reasonable price. I had my own large kitchen, dining table, living room, bedroom and toilet- basically everything you need for a long-term stay. The furnishing is stylish yet homely. The manager - Cristian, provided me everything I requested for - pots, pans, an entire cooking knives set, and a fan among many other things. The washing machine is shared but I never had a problem of waiting too long to wash my clothes (it was also free of charge while I was there).
But I think the real stars of Valentina Heights are the staff and the most wonderful manager - Cristian. Cristian was very friendly and was more than happy to show me around the hotel and the various rooms that were available during the off-peak season. He also recommended some great places to eat and was generally speaking always up for a great chat.
Location wise, Valentina Heights is 15 mins walking from the old town and quite close to the gondolas. Cristian rented me a bike during my stay which helped me to explore Bansko at my own pace. There's a small market just down the road (5 mins walking) and a larger supermarket 8 mins away. Close to the larger supermarket is a wonderful doner kebab place which became my frequent hangout (who can say no to 3 lev doner kebabs?!).
Overall - I'd give Valentina Heights 7 stars if I could. I'm coming back here again in summer 2020!
From outside it doesn't look so promising, but after we enter we found great place. Good location, very approachable SPA, and most of all very nice crew that made sure our vacation will be unforgettable and good as possible.
