We had a really good stay in Barcelona for one week. We were on a business trip, and there was plenty of room to work, and it was never too noisy. Everyone was quite respectful. Only suggestions we'd make is having rubbish bins and a broom in the dorms to keep things a bit more tidy.
I don’t normally write reviews, but this time I really need to.
The stay at Coliving Bruc was absolutely amazing - it really had hotel quality. Fernando, the host, is a genuinely nice person, always ready to help and always up for a good conversation. It was very clean, the people look out for each other, I felt incredibly safe as a female solo traveller and it was very comfy! I would 1000% come back!
I had a pretty bad experience with this hostel. The air conditioning in the rooms was not working properly and it was super hot at night that it was really hard to sleep. Me and the people in my room tried to bring these issues up with the host but they ignored her messages and were slow to reply to mine. When they finally came in to turn it on they wouldn’t turn it on low, only the highest setting despite us asking multiple times for it to be turned down. Then halfway through the night it turned off again.
I ended up checking out of this place and checking into Yeah hostel down the street which is 1000x better in my opinion. Great air conditioning, rooftop pool. I just wish I had known earlier.
Positives were it’s in a great location and there’s plenty of space for your bags but that’s about it. Maybe it would be fine if you’re used to sleeping in the heat but it wasn’t good enough especially for the price.
I had an incredible stay in Barcelona! The apartment was the best – cozy, well-equipped, and the people were so friendly. Its prime location made it easy to explore all the tourist spots. The special surprises of breakfast and dinner for Christmas were thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!
If I go to Barcelona again I will definitely stay here and will choose the female dormitory again. the train and bus connectivity in the Bruc area is great. I found everything easy to reach and not confusing. supermarkets and of course good food and cool club/bar places.
