The hotel feels like it could need a bit of renovation. The room was nice and comfy, though. The size of the breakfast buffet was surprisingly big with a lot of choice. Can recommend, especially if you have a dog.
Very good rooms, clean and comfortable. Great area to chip out with a beer. Good breakfast. Publi transport close by or good and safe car park and garages available for motorbikes. Have stayed here several times. Very good hotel.
I'm only providing this review since Cowool wrote an email to me asking that I "Partagez votre expérience de Cowooler sur les réseaux sociaux, on veut tout savoir !" Our overnight stay at Olivarius Villeneuve-d'Ascq left much to be desired. We experienced a long wait at reception during check-in and encountered several issues with our rooms. The bed collapsed and upon having been given a replacement room we had to make another trip to reception since the keycard to the replacement room didn't work. Moreover, the shower had very low water pressure due to a leaky hose, and the toilet leaked, causing disturbances throughout the night. The extremely friendly and helpful receptionist, who spoke excellent German and English, was a positive aspect, but overall, our stay was far from restful. I believe though that once all renovations have completed this hotel has a lot of potential to become exceptionally good. I like the layout and concept and as stated if so staff are looked the receptionist one could probably have an extremely satisfying stay there ...
The staff was very helpfull! Rooms were spacious, an ideal stop on our way to our holiday house.
It is a nice place to stay for a short while as the room has a small kitchen. The rooms are spacious enough, but in truth a little dated and in need of refreshing. The staff is pleasant and obliging. It was a good location for me as not far from my place of work. The amenities in the way of supermarket and shop are quite a way away if you have not got a car. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
