Stayed here for a night. Its a well maintained property & good WFM option for digital nomads.
Besides being a co working space and community living, eco friendly homestay, located in the picturesque setting of Rakkar road, Ghoomakad is a phenomenon in itself. The brainchild of Mohinder, this community is growing by the day. My three days stay over there made me aware of Mohinders journey and how he came to set up the most successful venture in the vicinity. I interacted with some very interesting people who have adopted this way of life which is becoming the new norm. The quaint cafe, run by the enterprising Sonalini and her partner, Atul, has the perfect ambience. And although I only tried the house blended coffee, a 10 on 10 for me, I heard good things about the food too. I would definitely recommend this place to all and if you are lucky, you could be treated to some heart warming music - local pahadi, hindi, rock n roll,… by Mohinder and team in those evening sessions.
Best place for Engineers or professional one to work from mountains and also who loves nature. Located in Dharamshala Himachal.
We booked the hut ( 2 bedroom set ) for approximately 10 days. It was a very peaceful stay. You don't have to worry about food at all. Ghoomakad Rasoi ( restaurant next to the stay ) is very nice and food is exactly like home and served hot.
Owner is also very nice. My friend dropped his phone in the river close to the stay. We contacted owner and he reached there to help us and saved my friend's phone.
As long as you don't create any problems for others in terms of music etc at night, owner is pretty chill and no restrictions from his side. Good experience overall.
