Definitely recommend. The people staying were extremely friendly. Isaac offered one of the most helpful and considerate services that we’ve seen. Our stay was unfortunately brief, we would’ve stayed longer if we didn’t already book another night else where in advance or we would’ve enjoyed staying for multiple nights. The location was great, accommodation was very clean. Wi-Fi was fast. Sharing a bathroom wasn’t an issue, we had a hot shower and a comfortable nights rest. 10/10 experience.
Definitely recommend Humant. We stayed only two nights but would come back. Humant gives what it offers, or maybe even more, without disappointment. Isaac is extremely friendly, very helpful. Our room was spacious enough, with a private bathroom and there You can even enjoy your morning coffee on the private rooftop. The neighbourhood is safety, looks fancy. There is a walmart express and some good restaurants of just a few minutes walk.
When travelers read about the amenities and decide to share a bathroom, it becomes a budget option. Not necessarily the cheapest budget option, but still in that category. So, it should be judged, with that priority, in mind. I can see this place gets rave reviews from the other guests, and I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but with taxes, I paid $49, for one night. This wasn't even the highest price. This was discounted. If you can afford luxury, instead of simpler accomodation, why not fly to Maui? It's a fancy house in a wealthy neighborhood and for $20 less per night, you can stay in a nice room in a middle class Mexican neighborhood. And that other house will be in walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants, public buses, etc. And if you have trouble with interpreting Mexican street addresses, this might be a poor choice. This BnB, it's not anything more or less than that, places the burden of finding the place on the shoulder of the customer. With a hotel, they have a big sign and are on a commercial street. Humant has no sign, at all, and when you are wandering around, blocked by locked gates every block, in the intense tropical heat and humidity, you may wonder if you are getting a fair deal, or the short end of the stick. I don't know how insecure the average guest is here. If they really need to be constantly reassured that they are cool. There are obviously cheaper pathways to scratching that itch. They have a filtered water faucet, in the kitchen, but I'm not sure they ever change the filter, so you could be drinking dirty water. I contacted them about it and I've yet to get confirmation about it. I would suggest you bring your own water.
Highly recommended!! Our next Cancun visit, would definitely stay again ❤ We stayed 3 nights in a bedroom with a small patio and shared bathroom. Plenty of space in our private bedroom. Initially concerned about sharing a bathroom but we never had any issues accessing the bathroom (I believe you only share it with the other room in the same alcove vs many rooms/beds). Superb friendly staff - check-in was easy, they can provide some restaurant recommendations, if you drink coffee ask them to show you how to use their coffee maker (I didn't want to accidentally break it), in the morning they put out some fruits like bananas and pears in the kitchen bowl for a quick morning snack, they send a friendly reminder early the day of your check-out that check-out is Noon, and check-out was painless. Wifi was fast & reliable (hubby said at least 100mbps up and down). We slept in every day - the house and neighborhood are quiet. Many restaurants and supermarket are within a 10-15 minute walk. Plaza Las Americas is a 15 minute walk, we walked over to that area or through Plaza Las Americas most nights. Uber easily picks up and drops off from the other side of the large white metal perimeter fence - there was always confusion when the drivers tried to go to the main gate, later we found out the gate attendants wouldn't let any of the drivers thru. My hubby says the room and house was clean. We both wished we'd stayed an additional night, instead we tried The Yellow Capsule (closer to the airport), regrets..
Love this place! I can highly recommend. I spend my first night here in Cancun and Isaac was so nice and welcoming and the building i beautiful as well. The location is close to the airport and close to the city and perfect if you have a rental car.
