Community is at the heart of Outpost. Our destinations are where the curious and adventurous go to meet, share ideas and travel together.

Set amongst lush rice fields, jungles and some of Bali’s best temples, Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali. It’s where yoga, mindfulness and an entrepreneurial hustle come together.

I stayed at Outpost Ubud in Nyuh Kuning Village and had a good experience. The staff were very friendly, kind, and always helpful. The room was comfortable ,there were some ants at first, but the staff handled it quickly. The area is quiet and relaxing, with lots of nice cafés and places to eat nearby. A peaceful and convenient place to stay.
Outpost Ubud Co-Living was the experience I was hoping to find on a solo sabbatical trip focused on reading and thinking. Accommodations are in small, two-story buildings set within a compound with a beautiful and well-tended garden and a small pool. A communal kitchen and seating area also opens onto the garden and there’s a lovely small pool. My room felt luxurious because of the size and strong AC, as well as a large bathroom. Instead of interior windows, the front walls are glass (with a movable curtain), looking out on the garden and a private porch with seating. Within the walls of the garden, the atmosphere is quiet, although I did connect with a number of people on the Outpost WhatsApp. A great advantage of this location is the setting. This Outpost is located in a small village with a school, playing field, communal temple, etc. — that nonetheless has a number of lovely small business good for travelers. Motorized traffic exists but far far less than in Ubud Center. Cafés and restaurants are wonderful; I went back repeatedly to Mother and Blend for breakfast, Rajarani for chai and dosas, Old Friends for coffee, 2 BULAN for Thai food. Movement Matters (Piates) and Murani and Anya Spas (massage) and SAMA nails all made my two week stay better, and I found some nice textiles at Tradisi. Everything is within a 15” walk, with the co-working an easy reach even after dark (flashlight for crossing the busy road!). You can also walk through the monkey forest into Ubud Center in about 14 minutes. (Again, bring a flashlight if walking at night!). The back entrance to the Yoga Barn is quite close. Finally, the Outpost staff are lovely, helpful and efficient but also creating a good feeling.
A wonderful place to rest and feel at peace, surrounded by nature. Although the location isn’t close to Ubud’s main hotspots, it leads you to discover charming local cafés that are absolutely worth visiting. What I enjoyed most about my stay at Outpost was the warmth of the staff. They’re always ready to help and share recommendations, especially on how to get around. A special thanks to Ola for always answering my daily questions—haha! Here you’ll find tranquility, connection with the local community, and a great space to truly unwind.
Ragu and his staff team were able to support any need I had. The gardens are very well kept and the room was everything I needed. I had stayed before and will stay again!
Outpost Ubud was a very enjoyable stay, I would like to comment on the staff, they were the most friendliest staff and helpful staff I’ve met, they were welcoming and would have conversations whenever I went outside or come back in. It’s in a good location very much right by Monkey Forest and has some good eating places around the area as well as a few spas! The room was slightly a little older but it was nice and had a lovely balcony with a nice view. It was pretty spacious! As for amenities, they offered shampoo, body wash, conditioner and hand soap, they also provided some hangers. Was a lovely time!
I had a great short stay at Outpost Ubud. Check-in was smooth and warm — Laura was super friendly, easy to talk to, and made a great first impression. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. The coworking space is a big plus, and the community WhatsApp group is a nice touch for solo travelers. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, productive place to stay in Ubud.
I loved the staff at Outpost! Most precious thing about my stay really - thank you for being there for all my questions and concerns! The location is amazing too, you can walk to the co-working, cafes, restaurants and Yoga :) I changed my room in the first days because the simple rooms are pretty darf inside and mine was next to a hostel that was a bit noisy. But I loved my superior room that I got afterwards. Thank you so much for everything
