I had such an amazing month in Ericeira. The Outsite house feels like a house, not a hotel like some of the other properties, which gives it a homey feel right from the beginning.
Only 10 rooms and the monthly minimum stay really creates a nice sense of community. The house is very centrally located in town, but not right in the middle of the bars and restaurants so it's relatively quiet. I highly recommend the large rooms on the top floor with the ocean view.
The community manager plans weekly get-togethers for the house which is a great way to welcome new arrivals each week.
I loved my stay and can't wait to come back!
I had a lovely stay in Outsite Ericeira. It was my first ever co-living/-working experience and it greatly exceeded my expectations.
From day one I felt like home in the house with lovely house mates and lots of activities to take part in. The community manager was very helpful and really improved the quality of my stay by always being attentive and ensuring that all my needs were met (room switch when my partner visited me, extra blanket, etc).
Ericeira is an amazingly laid back town. It’s very international without losing its soul or being overrun by mainstream tourism. I will definitely be back before long.
This was my first experience with Outsite, and I have to say, I'm hungry for more. The place is great. A nice roomy house, the rooms on the first and second level are on the small side, but since there are enough other places in the house to work from, this is no big deal. The cleaning service is also excellent, with a room cleaning every 14 days, and the common spaces being cleaned frequently!
The community manager Veronica is amazing! She kept us updated on events in the area, organised dinners and other activities, and was always available for questions or if there were problems with the house.
I came to Ericeira to surf, and surf I did. The area offers many amazing surf spots, both for beginner and advanced surfers. Do keep in mind that for most spots you will have to walk anywhere between 10-45 minutes, or take an Uber (but many won't take you if you have a surfboard).
By far the most amazing part of the stay were the people. Since everyone stays at least 1 month, you really get to know everyone. It begins to feel like a real home. It was amazing meeting so many cool people from so many different places in the world, and I feel I have made some great friends who I will definitely meet again in the future!
I spent a month in Ericeira and I felt like I didn't want to left. I wanted to stay for long. I also had the fortune of sharing the place with great people, spending my time with other digital nomads and remote workers who seek to have a better balance between life and work was a great experience. Every day in Ericeira was a day I was trying to make the best out of it, I was exposed to new experiences through my peers and enjoyed great moments with them, I definitely looking forward to my next stay.
It was my third time in Ericeira and I always stay here, if I can get one of the rooms with ocean view. The house is great. I especially appreciate the location, you can walk everywhere within 10 min.
