I recently stayed at Blue Coliving Paradise for one month and it was the perfect blend of productivity and pure relaxation. I can't recommend it enough! The co-working space is a huge win for any remote professional. The setup ensured I could work without a hitch. The option to work outside with a beautiful ocean view was a game-changer for my focus. Beyond work, the facilities are superb. I loved having a private room with an en-suite bathroom for my own space, while the communal areas, including the fully-equipped kitchen and the garden with hammocks and a pool were perfect for socializing. The community vibe is friendly, welcoming, and globally diverse. Selene is fantastic—always ready to help and organize events that really enrich the stay. If you’re looking for a top-tier co-living experience in Santa Cruz that perfectly balances work, comfort, and community, Blue Coliving Paradise is it. Five stars!
Best coliving ever ! Selene is wonderful, she always has good advice for visiting the island. The house, the view, the garden are amazing. I really recommand this friendly coliving 🫶
I had the chance of having my first coliving experience at Blue Paradise. I have absolutely no doubts that I've taken the right choice of deciding to do it at this place. The place is great - has a lot of charm, great location, awesome coworkings and an incredible community - which probably was the most important for me. My stay wouldn't have been so positive if it wasn't for the coliving. I don't know when I'm going back to Tenerife - but I definitely know where I'm staying. Highly recommend!
Host Nearly Canceled My Booking an Hour Before Arrival on New Year’s Eve I'm sharing my experience at this coliving space (December 31st - February 2nd) to help prospective guests make informed decisions. My primary concern arose shortly before my New Year's Eve arrival. After I inquired about previously undisclosed cleaning fees and the cost of an additional night offered by the host, Selene, our conversation became strained. She used terms like "childish" and accused me of "playing games with money." Despite the it being New Year's Eve, and the therefore difficulty of finding alternative accommodation with my mother visiting, she threatened to cancel my booking unless I agreed to refrain from sharing any feedback during my stay and promised a "peaceful" experience. To avoid further complications during my stay, I waited until a day before departure to share this feedback. I hoped to allow Selene the opportunity to address my concerns before posting this review. These concerns include: • Inconsistent Check-in Procedures: At least two other guests (in addition to myself) were not properly checked in resulting in us being uninformed of local plumbing practices (specifically, that toilet paper should be disposed of in the bin, not the toilet). This resulted in multiple instances of clogged pipes and a sewage overflow in the garage. • Cleanliness Issues: There are no volunteers to assist with cleaning, and the space is not cleaned daily. This resulted in the presence of cockroaches in the kitchen which were killed with heavy chemicals. • Unusual Fee Structure: Unlike other co-living spaces I've experienced, this host charges for each cleaning, fresh linens, and even mentioned a potential charge of 50 cents per additional toilet paper roll. • Limited Community Atmosphere: The co-living experience fell short of expectations. During my month-long stay, organized activities were infrequent (less than one per week), and most residents primarily kept to themselves. The environment personally felt more like a shared house with co-working facilities than a genuine co-living community. • Sustainability Concerns: Despite being marketed as sustainable, the property features artificial grass in much of the garden, and washing machine wastewater is discharged directly onto the garden. While the property and its location have potential, particularly the spacious rooms with private bathrooms and proximity to Santa Cruz, the current management and practices unfortunately prevent me from recommending this co-living space.
My stay was fantastic at Blue Paradise. I had so much fun staying with Selene and our other co-workers. The house is beautiful and is in a lovely location, with a stunning garden. Can’t wait to go back and thank you Selene for being so patient, accommodating and kind during my stay ❤️
The chalet style house is fantastic! In a quite neighborhood on the hill with stunning ocean view, the fast internet was perfect for remote work. The coworking space with adjustable tables and monitors was ideal to get serious work done. The garden is huge with hammocks under mango trees, workout equipment and starry nights. The kitchen is well-equipped, and it’s just a 20-minute walk or a quick bus ride to downtown. The host is wonderful! I loved going to different events and beaches every weekend with their electro-van 😎🌴
Absolutely amazing experience, I stayed for two months in beautiful house that is perfect for working and relaxation. House is equipped with height adjustable desks, quality chairs, blazing fast internet connection. Every room is cozy, with own bathroom, and yard offers an amazing view of the sea and Santa Cruz city. Selene was always helpful, constantly making sure to make your stay an unforgettable experience full of positivity and smile. Every weekend we traveled across the island together with all colivers, exploring beaches, traditional events, stunning hikes, food and other places. Thank you Selene for this unique experience, I can't wait to be there again!
