Great apartment, shame about the view. We were in 11H. The bedroom faced a wall, no sun at all so it was very dark in the apartment. Pool area was very small for so many apartments, that also didn't seem to get much sun. Be mindful of the rooftop bar, if you go to bed early or have young children -music loud until midnight. Excellent location and friendly staff
This hotel is okay. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is well located. The rooms feel a bit outdated, but the thing that kills this for me is the dance parties on the terrace on a Friday and Saturday night. I am writing this at 12:40am, when I am being kept awake by people talking loudly and playing dance music outside my room. The dance party on the terrace seemed to stop at 12pm, but people are loitering and keeping the party going playing their own music. I have no problem with parties if this is what you want, but this is absolutely not what I wanted, or what was advertised. I just want to sleep.
Staff are great, v helpful and friendly, location pretty good for main town & bus stop, free breakfast is lovely, roof bar vibey and pretty decor (though cushions need a clean as are visibly dirty) but rooms need some work to make it a comfortable stay. We had the upgraded room from the basic apartment. The overall apartment was spacious and had everything needed but in the bedroom there’s no actual curtains, only thin mesh (see photo) so a very bright wake up soon as suns up. View from our room was pretty dire, (block 4 facing outwards to the road) which I guess can’t be helped but try to avoid as it was quite a depressing daily view. Bins right outside which on Monday was an early noisy wake up. (See photo) Pillows rock hard- need replacing, unacceptable for any hotel. Actually hurt my head & neck. Bedroom & living room ‘show cushions’ smelt so bad- please please remove the covers and wash these! Inexcusable to smell greasy hair on unwashed hotel cushions. Shower power great for 1 min but it literally goes off and on again continuously and also runs out of hot water after maybe 2/3 mins every day. Not enjoyable. No soap in bathroom or kitchen only shower, asked for dispenser to be filled at bathroom sink on day 1 but it never was. Pool area nice enough but in the shade half of the day sadly. Overall, I’m not picky for the sake of it nor expect 5 star facilities for 3 star price but some of these issues are easy fixes and just not acceptable no matter the price. We had a nice time and just dealt with the problems but wouldn’t stay again.
A lovely stay in Corralejo. Having normally stayed at establishments further out we decided to try a more inner town place and certainly weren't disappointed. Very warm welcome received on arrival with knowledgeable staff. Simple and easy directions to the room. Information pack received. Room functional and comfortable for a great stay. Clean pool area. Not the largest so get out early to get a lounger. Nice sun trap.
Been staying at Bristol Sunset Beach for the past month and a half, and it’s been amazing! The loft studio I’m in is super clean, with great aesthetics and the bonus of two entrances. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooftop events are always a cool touch. Highly recommend!
What I enjoyed: - staff (at reception and rooftop bar) were friendly and helpful - my room was bright, nicely designed. The common areas are nicely kept, I like all the plants in the garden - breakfast on the rooftop. Not a huge selection but fine for a few days and nice location - short walking distance to the harbour, main streets, 2 good supermarkets nearby (superdino was my favourite) - easy parking (street parking only) I enjoyed my stay and would recommend and go again. Not sure this hotel is ideal for families with kids (small pool area. I don't mind, I prefer to go to local beaches) Could do better: - WiFi (too many details required to sign up. Coverage isn't great and it requires regular signing in) - please add another ceiling fan in the lounge and a soap dispenser by the sink (the toilet paper dispenser isn't great, bulky) - the safe is very small and key operated - the music from the rooftop bar is simply TOO LOUD. Unacceptable. Especially as windows have to be kept open - the quality of some of the materials used in the room isn't the best and showing early signs of wear/ damage (chrome and plastic peeling off etc) Tips - AVOID any rooms overlooking or close to Av Juan Carlos I (it is a very busy road with many coaches and lorries). Such rooms should only be offered with a discount and/or noise insulation and a/c - south facing rooms do get very warm. My preference is for west or north facing rooms - shame the gym comes as an extra, too expensive. For bike hires, go to Fuerte78. Much cheaper and good exercise
Just finishing off holiday to Bristol sunset beach , Room was large and airy but not one bit of sunlight in our balcony the whole day . Do not accept a room on the right side of blocks 1 2 or 3. Always in the shade. Came at 10o,clock on a Saturday night, fallowing weekend were told to leave at 11 in the morning. Got storage for bags but nowhere to rest apart from 3 uncomfortable camping chairs. Not worth the money apart from the room. Rooftop bar was for younger .9people playing DJ type music 🎶 so never went up. Can get much better in centre for about the same price. Oh pool area is about 15 metres by 5 metres, tiny . Not one seat in garden area for resting. A few tweaks and this place would be just OK. Please don't respond with one of your patronising answers.
