This is the worst placement I have ever had. Check-in according to the hostel rules is from 2 pm, but I was told that the room would be ready by 5 pm. During the first days of our stay, an unopened pack of cheese was stolen from my shelf in the refrigerator. The administration reacted in this way: “We will tell the staff to carefully monitor the refrigerator shelf.” No one even tried to find out who was stealing in this hostel! Until 2 a.m. and even 3 a.m. they cook food in the kitchen, make noise with pots, and talk very loudly. Yes, yes, exactly until 2/3 am. And from 4 am there is noise again. There is always a very strong smell of food in the hostel. I came for studying and was always away and all I needed was to come back to spend the night in silence, but that was impossible. When I wrote to the administrator, the next day a very tall and very thin guy came up to me and said I needed to talk. A few days later he again said we needed to talk. He literally started stalking me. Despite what I said about the terrible noise at night, everything continued. On July 29, at 1.30 a.m., the guy was making up dishes, preparing food, and at the same time playing loud music on his phone. It's impossible to sleep. Every day I went to studying in a broken state. The conditions in the room are very bad! The air conditioner doesn't work. The shower is clogged and the water does not drain. There is dirt in the corners. The window frames are moldy, there is mold on the ceiling. The only plus of this hostel is it's location. If there was a rating of -1, I would give it. And Stop lying about noise sensors. There is nothing like this in the room! And when during my stay I wrote to you about the noise, you wrote that you would work on this problem, and on the day of my departure you wrote that this happens when many people live in a hostel. You are full of lies! The windows and ceiling are moldy, the air conditioning doesn't work, hostel guests are yelling at night, hostel guests are stealing food from the refrigerator, hostel guests are playing loud music in the kitchen at night, they are yelling outside their room. What noise sensors are you talking about? In the room with mold, even the air conditioner did not work and the water did not drain into the shower. And the guy who followed me in the hostel is not your employee, but a guest of your hotel! You are full of lies. I'm very sorry that I encountered such dishonest representatives of the accommodation industry in Barcelona. Worst really worst place to live for 1100 euros per month.
Liked my stay so much I came back the second time. Spent there about 4 months in total, it's a very nice place. Clean, well-equipped, very centric. If you're working, there's a nice working area. Since the minimum stay is 1 month, you get to know people who live with you. I was lucky enough to meet some wonderful gals and guys. Alex, who volunteers there, is an absolute sweetheart, always made me feel at home. The staff often organised shared activities, which were fun. Otherwise, I feel like many people prefer to do their own thing, so they're never at home, and the place never feels overcrowded (which is a good thing for long-term stays, believe me). So yeah, wish there were a place like Mallorca in every city I visited. ps, please invest in some warm duvets, though. The AC may malfunction, and central heating may be too expensive, but at least an emergency duvet never fails.
Everything was absolutely perfect about this place! The whole apartment is clean, the room was spacious and had everything necessary to live and work comfortably, the kitchen is well equipped, laundry is easy to use and in the apartment itself, but most of all the staff and people were wonderful to meet and interact with!
The staff is professional and reasonable. The kitchen has basically anything you need. The bathrooms are cleaned well and daily with there almost never being a wait (maybe twice in my three months).
I stayed in their Mallorca apartment and i was pleased with the overall experience. The staff are amazing, location is excellent, and they really look after their guests really well! Any issues they are very prompt to deal with it. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and would love stay again on my next trip! Cheers
