I made best friends within the first few days who motivate each other to stay consistent with their goals and have fun along the way. This house is not just for tech startups, its VERY diverse. Even if you are not working on a startup, it is great energy to be around to pursue personal projects.
The rooms are spacious and come fully furnished. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. Laundry in-unit. Prime location in Mission District, close to all bars/grocery stores/restaurants.
Movie nights, co-working sessions, eating/cooking together, going to networking events/hackathons together, getting groceries together, going on hikes... all of it.
Lots of short term rentals, so there is always someone new in the house every couple of weeks. The Foundry is the most wholesome community to be apart of, especially if you are new to SF or staying short term.
Don't think I'll be moving anytime soon.
Spent 2.5 months at the Foundry, awesome house with awesome people! The area is great, next to Dolores park and allowing access to Downtown SF with the Muni (J line).
Walking distance from supermarkets (Safeway), nightlife (Valencia street), gyms and a great bakery (Tartine).
The host, Victoria, is super nice and helpful!
I had an amazing time at the Foundry house. I was there for ~3 months in H1 2025 and would highly recommend this space to anyone. The rooms were exactly what I needed - comfy double bed, desk, and a lot of wardrobe space. The residents were all cracked and at various different stages in their startup careers. I can honestly say I made friends for life in this house and the atmosphere is very social. The location of the property is incredible. 1min away from Trader Joe's supermarket, 10 min walk to Aquatic Cove to swim, a gym 3 mins away, and easy transport via the Lyft bike station right outside for any/all meetings.
Amazing location just next to Dolores park, super cool people, nice and clean common spaces. Victoria, the house manager, takes the best care so that everyone feels comfortable.
Very nice location (easy route into downtown and 1min walk from Dolores park) for a very good price. High recommend
