Small funky style rooms set as a social experiment. Cheap hotel in Nana, Soi 8. easy to find and car park next door. Nice staff and team, relaxed bolt hole, suits younger crowd best, rooms on small side but bright decor, limited food available, good meeting plave for budget travellers
I stayed at lyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok and loved the experience. The location is unbeatable, just a few steps from Nana BTS Station, making it super easy to explore the city. The rooms are compact but smartly designed, with modern, vibrant décor that feels fresh and cozy. The communal areas are a highlight, especially the lounge and shared kitchen, which make it easy to meet other travelers. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Perfect choice for solo travelers or anyone who loves a stylish, social vibe in the heart of Bangkok.
You get what you pay for. It's small and cozy and kind of like a hostel/hotel mix. Need to fill your own water at the dispensers, but they provide you with a pitcher. Honestly it's a place to sleep and maybe nerd a little. Just there's barely any room to do much. Friendly staff and great location though.
This hotel is a complete joke.
No TV in the room, laundry costs 100 baht, and using the dryer is another 100 baht. The room smells weird, they don’t clean it daily, and everything just feels half-assed.
The little terrace in front? Off-limits from 5 PM to 4 AM because they rent it out to the sleazy bar across the street. You can’t even sit there, smoke, or have your own drink like a normal human being.
Me and my husband bought a can of Coke (95 baht) from the rude woman who runs that bar just so we could sit out front. We had a sealed bottle of tequila with us—not even drinking it—and the second he went to the bathroom, she came up to me all aggressive and said, “You want tequila? We have tequila,” like I was doing something wrong.
Hotel staff were polite, but that’s about the only decent thing I can say.
This place is trash. Don’t waste your time. There are way better hotels that actually treat you like a guest—not a problem.
The room was fine. As expected for what you paid for. But service really sucked. They only clean the room every 2 days. BUT if you arrive at 12:01 am the following day, while you have to pay for that night, it doesn't count for housekeeping. So you get your room cleaned on the 3rd night instead.
Thin walls so you hear your next door neighbor. No real deal for your laptop, but the work tables at the lobby are fine. If you can get a seat when it's full.
The hotel is very close to Nana Station, and overall, it was a nice experience with some small issues.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the start. I arrived early in the morning, and since my room wasn’t ready yet, they kindly stored my luggage so I could go explore the area. When I came back at night, they gave me my room. Unfortunately, I found out that the air conditioner wasn’t working. I called the front desk, and the staff immediately sent the maintenance team to check. After the team confirmed the air conditioner couldn’t be fixed, they quickly arranged another room for me on the same floor. I really appreciated how professional and efficient they were.
The hotel itself is quite eco-friendly, which I liked. There’s no TV or refrigerator in the room, but there’s a large shared refrigerator on the ground floor where you can store your items. You just need to write your room number and check-out date on them. It’s a bit inconvenient to go downstairs every time you need something, but it’s manageable. On the bright side, every floor has two water dispensers with hot and cold water, which is convenient.
The room was small but had everything I needed. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The soundproofing was okay, but I could still hear doors opening and closing in the hallway, which was a bit distracting. Be conscious on using hot water, especially when you are the second one, because water turns cold. Other than that, it was a cozy and simple space.
The location is excellent! It’s close to shopping areas and has many local food stalls nearby, which made exploring and eating very easy.
I would still recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an affordable and eco-friendly place near Nana Station.
The moment we arrived in the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff. Love the modern look of the hotel, very hipster and chill.
I also love the large seating area with table for those who need to work.
The corridor leading to their rooms has industrial modern kind of look. Their room has what it needs, very cute and would put a smile on my face with its vibrant colours. Room size is sufficient for short stay. If you need water, there’s a water dispenser at the corridor near the elevator. Toiletry supplies such as toothbrush, comb, etc, available upon request at their reception desk.
Check out was seamless and allows us to leave our luggage with them free of charge until later that day.
Not to mention the hotel is very close to Nana BTS station, very easy to get around! There’s a convenience store & bars opposite the hotel.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and would look forward to stay there in my future visit to Bangkok!
