If you're a digital nomad or newcomer to Montreal who wants to thrive in a welcoming community and build long-lasting friendships, this is a coliving spot that I will highly recommend. You'll not only make memories here that you take back home to your future projects, but you'll also want to come back here too!
Nico (a play on the name of the street it is on) is a place that's constantly evolving as residents/colivers evolve, and we take a consultative and democratic approach to decision making here as a community (we don't shy away from having serious but respectful talk about things that matter to all of us). Maria, the founder of the coliving project, is an amazing person and a great friend, and you'll be able to have a chat with her with any of your concerns.
In terms of events we are always organising some spontaneous activity, be it a shared dinner or a larger supper club, or even outdoor sports (regardless of the season)
Location wise, this is a fantastic house in a great neighbourhood. It's just a 3 minute walk from Joliette metro and also a 10 minute walk to Rue Ontario where you can find great places to chill such as Helico or Arhoma (a community fav!). Plus the park next to the house is great during the summer for community activities.

This place is everything coliving can be. It has everything you need to live comfortably in community, welcomes people from all over the world, and balances opportunities for interaction, fun, work, and solitude.
I can't say enough good things about this place and the people that I've met, especially Maria and Nick, the couple that started the place and keep it smoothly running. It's been like a home to me for 8 months in Montréal and everyone here has been like family.
Nico is the second of two locations (the other is Noco), and it's a welcoming, comfortable space in a safe neighborhood, with Parc Lalancette directly across the street. It's a 3 minute walk to Joliette Metro, and a 10 minute bike ride to Parc Maissoneuve and Parc Olympique. The house is large, with 70's charm, and improvements are constantly being added.
Living here hasn’t just been about a place to stay; it’s been about making memories in a space that feels truly like home. If you’re looking for a spot that hits the sweet spot between comfort and convenience, I can’t recommend Nomad coliving enough. It’s more than a place to live—it’s a place to thrive!
The folks here are the real deal. It didn’t take long to feel like part of the Noco family. Everyone is super welcoming and genuinely kind – it’s the community vibe for me!
