POMAR Coliving is located in Brancanes, a small typical Portuguese village, just 15km from Faro airport and 3 km from the beautiful seaside town of Olhao.

At the heart of a 15 acres apricot family farm and was created to offer you a calm, warm and comfortable coliving-coworking place with multiple escape possibilities and easily accessible (by bike or car).

Our goal: offer you the best environment to work and recharge your batteries. We welcome at POMAR : nomadic workers and artists, Freelancers, or even companies for seminars!

I arrived on a Friday and was soon joining everyone for a DJ event in Faro. It was a lovely introduction to Pomar and how naturally social and welcoming it felt. What I particularly liked was that there were always things happening, but everything was optional. You could join in when you wanted and have your own space when you needed it. During my stay, I went surfing, visited waterfalls and local towns, tried salt baths, enjoyed samba and ate some fantastic local fish. Shopping at the market, cooking together and sharing family dinners were highlights too. The hosts and community manager made a real difference. Their local connections helped us experience things I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own, and they created an atmosphere where getting to know people felt easy. I worked a full-time job throughout my stay without taking any days off, but the evenings and weekends still felt like a holiday. Being able to finish work and have people around to share dinner or go exploring with made such a difference. I also learnt a lot from the other people staying there, including useful AI workflows and ideas that I could take back into my own job. Those unexpected conversations were another lovely part of the experience. For me, Pomar struck a really good balance between work, community and time to yourself. I could keep up with my job while enjoying new experiences and getting to know some great people. I’d happily recommend it.
