I booked Mozart House for a week stay with my boyfriend, having had a good prior experience with another repeople coliving a year earlier. This second experience was far from good. The duvet cover and the pillow sheets were dirty and we got new ones only after asking and pushing a few times. In the meantime while we changed the sheets, we also discovered that the duvet and pillows themselves were dirty, probably used for several years unwashed- the management and owner of the house didn’t care much about changing them, leaving us super disappointed. Finally with the help of the cleaner we managed to find a thin/small duvet that was still not the perfect solution while we still experienced cold during the nights. Overall sensation was definitely ruined by this experience, while at the same time many other things and management were far from good.
My girlfriend and I stayed at this co-living place in Las Palmas, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The overall condition of the house was subpar; everything seemed worn out and falling apart.
The kitchen, in particular, was in dire need of an upgrade – outdated appliances and impractical furniture made our stay inconvenient. Even basic essentials were missing in our bedroom, like a tool to clean the toilet. We repeatedly requested a change of bedsheets, which were initially dirty, and while they eventually changed them, the duvet remained thin and uncomfortable.
The owner seemed indifferent to the residents’ concerns, and the overall cleanliness of the house left much to be desired. The only positive aspect was meeting a nice couple, but unfortunately, that couldn’t compensate for the overall lack of care and quality in this co-living space. Regrettably, we cannot recommend it to others based on our experience.
I had the pleasure of staying with the Repeople for 3 months. I can confidently say that it is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a unique and fulfilling living experience.
The rooms themselves are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay and work. Additionally, the communal areas are designed to foster social interaction, with shared kitchens, lounges, and workspaces that are perfect for meeting new people and making connections.
The residents are from all walks of life, and there is a palpable sense of camaraderie and support that permeates the space. Whether you're a remote worker, a freelancer, or just someone looking for a change of scenery, the Repeople colivings are the perfect place to connect with like-minded individuals and broaden your horizons.
The combination of comfortable living spaces, communal areas, and a supportive community make it an excellent choice for anyone looking to expand their network and enjoy all that life.
I highly recommend Repeople!
This little house is just like a castle. Well taken care of, stylish and you will feel like home immediately. My room was so spacious and with its own balcony and bathroom. Repeople are very friendly, especially Dora, Nacho and Ariana. They help you with everything you need!
Would highly recommend for those looking to work remotely in Gran Canaria and want a sense of community with fellow remote workers! Upon arrival you are immediately welcomed into the the repeople community (not only with your flatmates but also with the other co-livers who reside at the three other co-living spaces that are nearby)! It’s a great way to connect with other digital nomads, discover what this island has to offer all while working in the comfort and luxury of Mozart house! Not to mention, the neighbourhood of ciudad jardín is super peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect work environment plus the city centre is within walking distance as well as the two beaches Alcaravaneras and Las Canteras!
