A magnificent newish hotel. Spectacular views from the roof. Close to the beach. A little bit far from the centre of Valencia however it's well served by local buses (€1 per trip!) Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast included in the price.
I stayed at this hotel during my study abroad from January 10th to May 10th of this year, and I loved the location, kind service, and the design of the hotel and my room! Room cleaning came once a week on the same day of the week depending on which floor you were on. I feel like they cleaned pretty well! I am a bit of a clean freak, but living/traveling in Europe for a bit shows you that you have to either bring your own cleaning supplies or deal with it at times. I used my own pillow case, shower towel, used shower flip flops, and cleaned around a little with vinegar after room cleaning. The only thing about the rooms is that the doors seem like they’re paper thin because sounds from the hall can be heard clear as day, and I’m pretty sure sounds from inside rooms can be heard outside too if you talk too loud. But ALL of the staff were so kind and helpful!! The front desk receptionists spoke great English. Whenever I had issues/questions with the laundry machines or my room, they did their best to help me get it resolved. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, the supermarket (consum), a bank, and a bunch of places to eat. If you walk to Patacona beach, you’ll see a bunch of cafes and restaurants facing the beach. I personally liked going to Casa Patacona for breakfast and lunch and La Mas Bonita for my desserts. If you decide to take the bus, the one that stops in front of the church that’s next to this hotel can take you through most of the city. The awesome thing about living near the outskirts of the city is that you don’t have to worry about what stop you get off at because it will usually be the very last stop, haha. Overall, this place was expensive but worth it. I loved this hotel and would definitely come here again for any long term or short term stay:) (Keep note, I added those hotel highlights in relation to other hotels/places I’ve heard about in Valencia from friends.)
I stayed at this hotel for about 4days and let me tell you, it is indeed worth it. You may see some negative reviews as well but for a 2-star hotel it should ranked way higher because it’s absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I had a nice holiday there, the service was nice, the food was decent and i felt very secure and comfortable staying there. I must say I’m pretty satisfied with my trip and would come to stay there again. Though there were smaller parts where chalk was there, but I’m sure they will improve out of the reviews and try their best to make us happy. In the “E” floor is a bar and in the fifth floor is a kitchen. It’s friendly to use.
Nice hotel with good location. Continental breakfast. Parking. One floor for rest: cinema, laundry, bilard, sofas. Swimming pool well equipped. One annoying thing is long time to wait for elevators, everytime you must wait minimum 5 minutes to go down/up. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby. So close to promenade, beach and sea.
Nice and modern hotel (which seems to work also as a student dorm). Everything was clean and comfortable. Good location near the beach. The only problem was very bad breakfast.
I see quite a few bad reviews here and I imagine one might get unlucky when it comes to which room one gets and so on, but in my own experience, I’m very happy with my stay. I wanted a budget place close to the beach, where I could sleep and shower. And that’s what I got! It’s a no-frills hotel but my room was clean and it was quiet during the night. They lent me an iron and a board in reception when I asked. Big gym in conjunction, which surprised me. And it is indeed close to the beach. Also the rather large fridge was a nice touch (I guess it’s designed for the more long-term stays). I would definitely come again for a short-term stay in Patacona Beach!
I stayed at Patacona for four nights when traveling to Valencia for business. It is a simple hotel, mostly with students living short-term, but that did not cause any disturbance. Wonderfully located right next to the beach with great choices for food. 30min from the airport. The room was small but functional, very clean. Breakfast was good for enduring the day, with variety and warm and cold options. Receptionists were always friendly and quick to help when needed. In my room the A/C was not very working very well, but luckily it was not that hot and the windows could be opened. Before the summer, it would be a good idea to have it checked!
