🏨 has short staysFine for a workation, but significant turnover works against coliving principles for a cohesive community; a longer minimum stay supports better interactions. What is coliving?💁 has host / managerOften on site to give suggestions and take questions, but do not actively facilitate community.🤷 ranks poorlyAs a 'coliving' this space likely doesn't meet expectations — yet may be acceptable if you're not expecting too much. This hotel exceeded my expectations!! The location was amazing and very centrally located for visiting museums, while the breakfast was absolutely delicious (fresh pastries and fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, waffles, etc) with a nice view of the city. The rooms are clean too.
A hotel in a great location, and good value for money. We had a small problem with our room but the staff were excellent and resolved it immediately.
The breakfast was delicious, and we were really grateful for the coffee corner and soft drinks.
I would strongly recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a good value, comfortable room for a short break in Madrid.
A true single budget room is rare, but SLEEP’N Atocha delivers. I was a bit worried that an “interior room” would be a windowless cell, but there are windows into a light well, providing that necessary psychological light. The bonus of an interior room was that in the heatwave, the room wasn’t heated by the sun. I found the room just big enough for me and my suitcase. It’s a good room for those who don’t spend much time at their accommodation. I happily spent four nights here, leaving to explore the city after a delicious breakfast and returning after nightfall. The “free” unlimited soft drinks and tea for checking in online were a nightly bonus when I got back to the hotel. For those unfamiliar with the Spanish checking-in process, it can be done before you arrive at the hotel. It’s basically data entry - your passport no, your address etc. The breakfasts on the rooftop (enclosed and air-conditioned, thank goodness) were delicious. I particularly liked the fresh melon and changing home made cakes. The location was great - just next to Atocha station and the Reina Sofia and a stone’s throw from the Prado. It’s an easy walk to various markets and bars and museums. It was also convenient for a day trip to Toledo, which is a 34 minute train ride from Atocha. My one complaint was the use of disposable cups. I was attracted by the hotel’s B-corp status and environmental statements but the disposable cups used for the soft drinks and teas were at odds with this messaging.
Amazing little hotel in a perfect location! Across the street from Atocha train station and a two-minute walk from the metro station. The hotel had a super cool vibe, and I appreciated that they offered recycling services. Also, if you check in online you will receive free water, pop and coffee during your stay, which we appreciated. We also received a hand-written welcome note and cookies upon our arrival! There are lots of restaurants in the vicinity, and the Reina Sophia museum is just around the corner. We walked from this hotel to Plaza Mayor and the cathedral, which was easy to get to. Would highly recommend!
An absolutely wonderful stay—perfectly located in the heart of Madrid with the warmest, most welcoming service you could ask for. The buffet was a highlight! Not only was the food delicious and varied, but the service team made every moment feel special with their kindness and genuine hospitality. I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. If you’re searching for the perfect hotel, look no further—this is the place. A+ all around!
Extremely convenient location, with great rooms. It’s 2 min walk from the carpark. Superb for kids and feels very safe.
However, what I want to really highlight is the excellent staff. They made efforts to make our stay comfortable but the thing that made them stand out was their effort to help us after we left. We dropped a bag full of money (really quite alot) and they walked over to the carpark and then subsequently to the breakfast place to make sure that they found it. Honestly, is second to none. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who is coming to Madrid
I can not recommend this place enough. As they say, the rooms are small, but this was probably the smartest hotel I have been in years. As a lecturer on Hotel Management, I was amazed to recognize how well managed it is, and how the staff is motivated to be there. Every single aspect is subject of consideration, and the guest do feel welcome.
