Perfect place for nomads.
Good internet and a lot of common spaces to work from. Shopping machines where you can buy without the need of get out from the place.
Lot of restaurants nearby. Also the place is just in front of the city's main station and close to the main train station.
A little far from the old town, but you can get there after a 20 minutes walk aprox
The only bad thing is that there is no A/C in the room and it can quickly get too hot inside. Also they don't give you any cleaning supplies for the kitchen (soap, sponge, etc)
Overall this is a lovely modern building about a 20 min. walk from anywhere you want to go in downtown Vilnius. Keep in mind that there is no air conditioning and in the summer it was impossibly hot in the rooms. It made sleeping quite difficult most nights and there was no way to cool down. For that reason I wouldn't be able to stay there again during the warm months. Also, the website advertises a "gym' in the building, but it's just a few pieces of equipment and is more akin to a small hotel studio gym or even smaller. If you're planning on doing any kind of regular workouts, you will still need to go and sign up for a regular gym membership. Staff was very friendly, polite, and spoke English really well. So that was nice.
Good location, just in several minutes from the busy streets of the old town. But still quiet enough. Great stuff, all three administrators were supportive and friendly. Modern and new facilities. I enjoyed staying here for several months. Recommended.
Cozy, international, but not prioritizing the comfort and the well-being of the tenants.
Pros:
The place is new and well designed.
The rooms are comfortable and well equipped.
Accessible and near to public transportation ( train station, bus station, and bus stops)
The place offers a nice gym, a yoga place, a cinema room and a game room where you can easily spend good time indoors.
Cons :
The kitchens are now poorly equipped.
The administration organizes several events, which prevents tenants access the main hall and the courtyard (very inconvenient!)
Hot water problems are frequent, without offering any compensation for the poor service.
Poor community Management (the administration does not deal effectively with conflicts and daily community issues)
Overall, the coliving is nice but there are some efforts that need to be made by the managing team to make the space more pleasant and attractive.
We recently hosted an event at Solo Society through the French Chamber of Commerce, and we were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The venue was perfect for our needs, providing an ideal space that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
A special mention goes to Giedre G., whose input was instrumental in ensuring the room setup met our specifications perfectly. Her attention to detail and proactive approach made a significant difference, contributing greatly to the success of our event. We appreciate her dedication and professionalism.
We highly recommend Solo Society as an event venue and commend Giedre G. for her excellent work.
I rented a meeting space for a company event at Solo Society and Giedres service was excellent! She was able to customize the offering to my companies needs, extremely flexible, and also making sure to remind me of all the small details you always need to be aware of when organizing company events.
In addition to that, they have a nice bar and outdoor space which can be used for mingle events in the summer.
Highly recommended!
The location is good; close to the station and the Old Town. The people working there are really helpful. On the other hand, the rooms are quite expensive for what you get. If you want to live there you still need to buy a stuff for you kitchen etc. For me the biggest downside was the policies that changed during my stay, which I found unfair. It was like changing the rules of the game halfway through. Overall if you choose for Solo Society enjoy the stuff you pay for like the gym and other common rooms, but be aware of the policies/rules and the stuff you will need to buy for your own room to make it comfortable.
Currently residents get 'points' for leaving 5 star reviews so don't believe everything you see!
