We blend together a unique style mud-house homestay with cozy en-suite rooms and a communal common space with an amazing mountain view of the entire valley. After a day wondering in the wilderness, head up to our rooftop or our garden to catch the sunset with fellow members. Or join one of our regular BBQs or lunches held there.

The name of the place sounded interesting and I decided the explore further. Read quite a lot of reviews which felt genuine and not paid. Immediately booked my stay for 2 nights. Situated at a very quiet yet easily accessible location in Tirthan, the Void offers everything that one would reasonably expect for a comfortable and warm stay in the mountains. Nishant bhai, who manages the property, is available round the clock and ensures his guests feel at home. The internet is high speed and uninterrupted. Girdhari Bhaiya and Ramesh Bhaiya ensured constant supply of teas and coffees. The food was fresh, tasty, and homely. You can avail taxi service from Chetan Bhai who will show you around the valley and will definitely show his photography and videography skills if you hand him over your e to click a picture. At The Void, you will get a feeling of being at your own home, while you are in your room, at the common room/dining area, or sitting in the beautifully maintained garden. I am definitely going back to the Void and in case you are planning to visit Tirthan, you would not want to miss the calm at The Void.
It’s a beautiful and peaceful stay tucked away in a remote part of Thirthan Valley, offering great views and a calm vibe that makes it perfect for longer stays. Despite being remote, the property has a surprisingly good internet connection which makes working or streaming easy. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. Since the location is up in the hills, we often traveled down the mountain to explore the valley. There aren’t any regular cabs available, but you can always ask the staff for help arranging transport. Local buses run early in the morning if you plan your trip ahead. Food: The food here is excellent! They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients that make every meal taste amazing. The cooks are highly skilled and always attentive to any preferences or instructions you share.
Amazing tranquil stay in the mountains. The Void at Tirthan is quite simply an incredible getaway from all the stresses and craziness of travel in India. Waking up every morning to the stunning views and sun on our balcony was just fantastic. It's quiet, peaceful and very comfortable (coziest blankets we found in India for cooler nights!). It's a little remote but that's part of the appeal, no stress or noise and the wifi is rock solid for working. The food was great, freshly cooked and some of the best aloo parathas I've had in India (I know, a tall order but it's true!). And it's a truly welcoming place, Nishant is extremely helpful, friendly and a wondeful.host. Highly recommended for a peaceful recharge retreat!
I stayed here recently and absolutely loved it! I’ve already recommended it to all my friends and colleagues. As a solo traveller, I felt completely safe and really well taken care of — Nishant handled everything from food to transport, which made my stay super easy. The location is secluded in the best possible way. It’s quiet, peaceful, and exactly the kind of break I was looking for. The people in the mountains are genuinely so warm and kind — every local I met was helpful and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. And honestly, the view from my room was the highlight. Absolutely stunning.
We had the most unbelievable stay at the VOID Tirthan Valley, I never wanted to leave! We came to escape to the beautiful quiet nature and that's exactly what we got and so much more. The location is near the top of the mountain (road is a little crazy after the heavy monsoons) so you get the best view over the mountains and valley. The hikes nearby to waterfalls, view points, and the national park are fantastic. The VOID felt like a home, Nishant look such great care of us. Myself and my partner are on a year long round the world trip and I can confidently say this is the best service I have recieved from both Nishant and his partner in their other property in Dharamshala. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food delicious and healthy, internet very fast and reliable which is very impressive given the location. Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and I cannot wait to come back.
I have been a admirer of Void’s hospitality since my stay with them in their Baksu property two years back. So when planning for Tirthan, when I found Void Tirthan, I didn’t look further. And boy, I wasn’t disappointed. Void Tirthan is one of the most peaceful and rejuvenating experiences I’ve had in a long time. The location is absolutely stunning – perched at a perfect height that offers breathtaking views of the snow-clad mountains and the serene valley below. Waking up to the sight of misty peaks and the crisp mountain air was nothing short of magical. The property itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything a traveler could need. The rooms were clean, cozy, and warm. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure every aspect of the stay was comfortable. From food, views, vibes, WiFi everything just was ample for me to be sorted. Whether you’re looking to unwind, explore the local culture, or simply enjoy the unmatched beauty of nature, this homestay in Tirthan Valley is an ideal choice. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful escape in the lap of the Himalayas!
A Perfect Getaway in Tirthan! I had an incredible stay at The Void Tirthan. The WiFi was impressively fast and reliable – a huge plus whether you're working remotely or just want to stay connected. The food was absolutely amazing. The rooms were cozy, beautifully done, and offered the perfect blend of comfort and charm. It truly felt like a home away from home. A special shout-out to Nishant, the host, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed – from local recommendations to logistics. Can’t recommend this place enough if you're looking for a peaceful, and heartwarming experience in Tirthan.
Great place and Vibe! We were a group of 4 and stayed for 6 nights Nishan is a great host, spent a ton of time together planning hikes, playing scrabble, and at the bonfire watching the starry night. The caretaker and the cook, Dinesh and Chaman, are excellent people. Always accommodating requests and with a great attitude. Did a few hikes there, some long and some short. The place is secluded so lots of tranquility and peace.
