I stayed at Triver Coliving and had a great experience. The place is comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, it feels calm and easy to live in, which I really appreciated. My room was quiet, the common areas were nice to use, and everything just worked.
The location in Juárez is a big plus. You’re close to great coffee spots, restaurants, and can move around the city easily, but the building itself feels peaceful. It also has a nice, natural sense of community.
I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it if you’re looking for a well-located, low-stress place to stay in Mexico City.
Compared to other hostels and co-working/living spaces I've stayed in Mexico, Triver was the most thoughtful and functional: kitchens on 2 different floors plus on the roof top deck; multiple places to work, including a great desk in the room; adequate wifi bandwidth; smart, efficient room designs; attentive staff and 24/7 security guard. I will definitely choose to stay there again!
Location was ok. Horrible place to stay . It doesn’t have a/c and it is extremely noisy. We were greeted by a security guy that was smoking . Our room got changed (for some reason) and given to someone else and we didn’t get notified until we came back to the hotel.
Definitely would not recommend. Bathroom showers are dirty, the whole place seems dirty overall.
I spent a cumulative 6 months at this property over 3 segments of time in a 1 bedroom room. On the whole, I liked the property, but it can be noisy on the weekends from the local clubs. The rooftop area is nice, but the kitchens were often lacking supplies and occasionally had dirty dishes/pots overflowing in the sinks. The service was great on the whole, but on at least a few occasions, the elevator was down for most of the day for maintenance.
My main issue is the swings in pricing here are wild - the cheapest I stayed was at $950/month, the more expensive was $1250 or so. I thought about renewing for the fall but the price jumped to over $2k/month. I get there's a seasonal aspect but that's just insane for what this is, an ~8-9 square meter room.
On my most recent stay, the rate shown on the reservation page did not include IVA (tax), and the additional charge only appeared at checkout. On my previous stays, the price shown was the actual total, so this change was surprising and required me to dispute the amount. They eventually honored the original price, but it should not have necessary.
Under Mexican consumer law — LFPC (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor), Article 7 BIS — businesses must clearly and visibly show the total amount the consumer will pay, including taxes and mandatory charges. Showing one price during booking and adding IVA only at checkout is considered deceptive pricing.
I’m posting this so other travelers are aware and can double-check the final total before confirming a stay.
Amazing hostel, I spent nearly 10 days there and it’s one of the cleanest hostel I have been, the showers is amazing it has shampoos, body wash, lotion 🧴
The rooftop is great
Has more than 3 kitchen u can cook feeling free.
It has a laundry that you can use it for free, but you have to bring your own soap 🧼 but most of the time you will find donated soap (free) by other guest lift it there.
The only small thing should be improved having more hange in the shower 🚿
- The accommodation is functional and decorated in a clean, minimalist style
- We especially loved the beautiful rooftop terrace and spent a lot of time there.
- There are several fully equipped kitchens available, which was very convenient.
- The location is excellent – right in the heart of Zona Rosa.
- Staff were incredibly friendly, and the security team was great.
- Be aware that the area is very lively, which means it can get quite noisy, even late at night.
they should install a set of commercial grade large capacity speed queen washer and dryer on the roof for the staff and a set of commercial grade medium capacity coin operated speed queen washer and dryer for guests. they have two sets of Maytag washer and dryers that both staff and guests share but they are absurdly ineffective. I think the capital investment would be worth it because it would significantly cut down on unnecessary labor and time for the staff to have to run up and down the stairs to tinker with the machines. also the surrounding neighbors should file complaints about the several clubs that play loud music till the early morning half of the days during the week. they are a major burden to the residential sector in the area
Cool hostel in a busy area. The location is the best part of this place - surrounded by nightclubs but I didn't have trouble sleeping - They provide a fan and white noise machine which helped drown the noise. Didn't even need to use earplugs
24x7 Guard on site who can let you in at any time.
In terms of vibe its more of a co-working hostel than a social hostel. Only thing I wish they would provide in each room is an iron and a hair dryer. Also only had one towel which is fine for me but maybe a downside for some.
