We, my partner and I, stayed at Vivarium for the second time, once last January and again this year. Overall, it’s a place with a lot of potential and charm, which is also why we decided to come back.
What we really like:
Vivarium is very well located in a lively neighbourhood, close to the Turia park. The building itself is beautiful, with charming tiles, and the co-living atmosphere is a real plus. The people staying there and the activities that are organised create a fun and social experience.
What could be improved:
Unfortunately, both stays had some issues around management and hospitality. During our first stay there was a booking mistake and we ended up in a smaller room than expected. This time, we had to move to a different room and floor after one week. Additionally, I experienced problems with the keys twice: the first set did not work at all for our room and the co-living spaces, and the second set also worked poorly. Checking this more carefully in advance would already make a big difference in how welcome guests feel.
The rooms themselves are quite basic. The en-suite bathrooms in both rooms were rather cramped, storage is limited to a simple wardrobe, and there is little decoration to make the rooms feel cosy. A bit more attention to these details, as well as a clearer and warmer check-in process (showing guests around and explaining how everything works) and improving the kitchen stuff (cups, plates, glasses etc.), would really improve the overall experience.
In summary:
Vivarium has a great location and a nice co-living community. With a bit more care and attention to hospitality, organisation, and room and kitchen facilities, it could easily be a 5-out-of-5 experience.
I've done many colivings and vivarium was far and away one of my very favorites. the location is excellent, right in the heart of urban valencia. and the management/support is friendly and responsive. I loved how they put consistent effort into weekly community events, and the place was overall spacious and clean. I would definitely stay with vivarium again.
Our stay at Vivarium last summer was mine and my partners first ever co-living experience, and it exceeded ALL expectations. What a wonderful community of really great people. Don’t sleep on this place!! We are currently back for our second stay, which has been, ofcourse, as wonderful as the first stay.
Staying at Vivarium was an incredible experience! The space itself is amazing—well-designed, comfortable, and perfect for remote work.
Beyond the workspace, the social atmosphere is absolutely great! There are always activities that bring the community together, making it easy to connect with like-minded people. The neighborhood is also a huge plus—tons of great coffee shops, restaurants, and bars just around the corner. It’s only a 15-minute walk to the city center and just 5 minutes from the biggest park in the city, perfect for a midday break or an evening stroll.
A huge shoutout to Domme and Noya for making everything run smoothly, they truly make Vivarium feel like home!!!
Just book it - you won’t regret. I travel full time and this is the best coliving I’ve been to.
The community here is unmatched. Dome, the community manager facilitates family dinners, cinema nights and skill exchange evenings. They also introduce new colivers on Slack before they arrive which makes you feel right at home once you get there as people expect you and know a little bit about you. The rooms are lovely and kitchen is well equipped to prepare your food.
Coliving is close to a big park, Lidl, gyms, Pilates studios and lots of bars and restaurants. It’s a very walkable city. And the great weather all year long also helps.
I went first for 1 month and then later in the year booked for 2 months as I couldn’t get enough! Go, go, go!

The coliving is in a beautiful Valencian building and the location is amazing, you have everything you need in walking distance. The working space is incredibly beautiful and offers enough meeting rooms, but there are also desks in the private rooms, which makes working very flexible.
The community managers Dome and Erica obviously really like their job and bring a very positive vibe into the group. And they are always there for you if you need anything.
My favourite part of the whole experience were the weekly family dinners, it was such a great opportunity to connect and share our love for food. Group dynamics worked really well too, there were always events you could join, but I never felt obliged.

Best coliving I’ve been!!
If I can recommend a coliving for sure will be @vivarium!! The building is located in a great area of Valencia, full of amazing people and good activities to connect the colivers. The coworking space also is very good. Each room has a desk, what in my opinion, is also good, bcs I can choose from where to work every day! Go there and enjoy it!
Vivarium was our first coliving experience, but it offered us so much more than we expected! We had a perfect combination of our privacy and being able to hang out with someone anytime we want to. The community activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays are all optional, but we liked the group so much that we never skipped anything. Since the apartment is spacious, you have enough space to work, have meetings or just chill. Pablo is an amazing host, available for all questions and suggestions, also he is the best source of local recommendations. 😊 Vivarium is definitely a great and affordable way to stay in Valencia for a longer period of time.
