Loved 1907! It’s a small group of about 8 rooms. It’s quiet at night and the layout gives you privacy. Everyone I met was basically in their 30s so it definitely had more of an adult feel which is what I was looking for. Love the old town neighborhood, keep in mind it’s 15-20 minutes bus ride to the beach but it’s much nicer than the other colivings I stayed at near the beach. My only recommendation is that the dining room should really be converted to a TV room as there’s no “couch area” to hang out, and the rooftop would be perfect if there were outdoor furniture and not just tables. In regards to the room, I loved the decor and I slept completely fine but some of the rooms closer to the main street did say it was a bit loud with cars at night so debating on your room/noise level, bring ear plugs. I would still stay there again 100% especially for the price and to meet others!
I have stayed in Coliving 1907 for two months in room Artenara. The house is situated in Triana, a posher neighbourhood of Las Palmas. In the area there are a lot of restaurants and bars in walking distance. You can reach the Canteras area & beach by bus or bike in around 25-30 minutes. Most of the nomad activities are there. I didn't mind so much travelling up there, but it's good to keep in mind. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful with a lot of light and high ceilings. I really was very happy with it. It's also nice to have your own bathroom. The cleaners are coming every week and also the owner comes in often and tidies up the kitchen. The house is very spacious. I felt at home here. FYI: It's not a coliving where there are activities, it's more just a house-share. I personally really didn't miss this at all, and the group organized dinners and activities by ourselves. I have met a lot of lovely people here! What I like less was: - the street next to the coliving is very noisy because of a lot of traffic & busses and also there are also two cafe's downstairs. Bring earplugs! I got used to it after a few weeks. - there is no cosy communal area with a nice big couch to chill on, both inside and out on the rooftop. This could be such an add-on to the place. I really missed it during my 2 months because you don't always want to chill in your room or go out. If the communal areas are giving more care it would add a lot of value to the place.
I had a really nice 2-months stay in Coliving 1907. Met some really nice people over there! Coliving house is located in old town with lot of coffee shops & restaurants nearby. Not so many tourists in the area. Main beach / meet-up / events area is around 30 minutes away by bus or an hour by walk. Main bus station is located 5 minutes from co-living, and it's a main bus station for Las Palmas taking you to any place on the island you want. Downside for this location is that it's not ultra quiet because of wooden windows & street next to the building. Buses can be heard from time to time. House is specious, well-maintained and is cleaned once a week, along with rooms, so felt clean. Place has a rooftop terrace, where I was spending a lot of time working. Room had a superb adjustable desk! The main points for meeting people were kitchen and rooftop terrace. Small improvements that could be made: better common space (sofas, coffee tables, etc.) as a meeting point for co-livers, better office chairs in rooms, a bin for mixed trash, one wifi network across the entire house instead of two separate networks, and more motion-light detectors.
I’ve been staying at this coliving space for several months, and got to know many very friendly and interesting people from all over the world. The host is great, very thoughtful and friendly. The location is also very good, there are many grocery stores, a shopping mile and the main bus station in walking distance. And everything else you can reach by bus or taxi in a few minutes. My room was very tidy yet a little bit loud because there was a bus stop right below but that is really the only minor complaint I had about the place. The roof terrace is great for all kinds of activities, the kitchen is well equipped. I really had a good time there and if I ever find myself visiting the island again I would stay there again.
I spent a whole month at Coliving 1907 and I have to say I loved it! Raquel always responds very quickly when you need something and the roof terrace is the highlight. If you need to work, you can do it in your room at the stand-up desk or on the roof terrace. The only negative thing is, some rooms are loud because they are located directly on the main street. I will definitely come back :)
