I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Amber, for 3 months. Originally, I planned to stay for just 1 month, but I ended up extending my stay because of how comfortable and productive I felt. The co-living space was thoughtfully designed with a dedicated workspace that was perfect for my needs. It was peaceful and had everything I needed, which really helped me concentrate. The shared entertainment area was another highlight. We had game nights and movie nights, which were a fantastic way to unwind and bond with fellow residents. The sense of community was genuinely welcoming. One of my favorite aspects was the shared kitchen. It was well-stocked, and I loved the option of preparing my own meals. Even better were the times when we gathered together to cook and share meals, which made the experience feel like a warm, extended family gathering. Outside the co-living space, there was plenty to explore. One favorite was a restaurant called The 2nd House within walking distance. It became a regular spot for us, with great tasting food and an inviting atmosphere. Overall, my time in this co-living space was incredibly fulfilling. I made great friends, maintained my work productivity, and had the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Out of all the 10 different coliving/coworking places I've stayed in over my 6 years as a nomad, aColmeia is one of the best! No question. I initially booked for 1 month and ended up staying for 5-1/2 months. Over that time, I got to know the founder (Dhruv) and the two community managers (Komal and Mehak) really well. They're phenomenal people who really care about their residents. Dhruv has thought of everything, taking care of details that some of the larger, longstanding coliving companies still haven't gotten right. He's also a great guy with an interesting perspective on life. Komal (the original community manager) organized so many great events, including the Echoes of Earth music festival, which 7 of us attended. She's got an amazing heart and a wonderful ability to draw people out of their shells, getting them to engage the community. Mehak (the community manager who took over after Komal left to prep for grad school) is a fascinating, fun, cultured person who would stay up late with us and discuss life, philosophy, society, and a million other things. She's naturally warm and welcoming, and she's so much fun to be around. I've come to care deeply about all three of them, and I'm sure we'll be friends for life! The best thing about this experience is that none of it was forced—they're all committed to their residents and their vision of building a nomad community in Goa and beyond. Adventures included: * Music festival * Ice baths * Carnival parade * Game nights * Movie Nights * Dinners * Learning to make kefir * Scooter rides * Beach trips * A tons of other stuff Also, the community is great, packed with fascinating people. They do an excellent job of attracting foreigners like me as well as Indians from all over the country, so it's the perfect place to learn about the many vibrant cultures found in the world's most populous nation.
aColmeia was my first co-living experience and I absolutely loved it - it really felt like home! My original booking was for a week but I quickly extended to 4 weeks due to the people and productive atmosphere. Casa Amber provides comfortable rooms, multiple workstations, shared living spaces and a trustworthy and social environment. The house is in close proximity to fruit/veg markets, pharmacies and easily accessible to Swiggy (online food and grocery delivery) if you don't ride a scooter. Also 15-30min ride to many beaches, cafes, shopping etc. Acolmeia has a strong focus on community (both current and past guests) and I thoroughly enjoyed the networking and friendships that come along with it. It was beautiful to see so many long stays and returning members to both houses in Goa. A big thank you to Dhruv for making my stay enjoyable -- I already miss the biriyani and impromptu karaoke nights! All the best going forward 😊
Great stay in Casa Amber. Booked for a couple weeks and ended up extending my stay for a month. Great people, great community, It really felt like home. The house has all facilites that you need for longer stays! I will come back for sure!
Goa trip ended but memories won't... and the first moment i will remember was staying in casa amber with the excellent hosts...Dhruv and komal. They both are so helpful and the stay was so amazing that i would recommend each and everyone to stay in casa amber. Good amenities with good environment and of course lots of fun.🥰🥳
The time at aColmeia was absolutely amazing. The house is neat, you have everything you need and the hosts are absolutely amazing in organising and caring for the guests. I felt like home
Loved the place. The property is really amazing. Nice ambience. Cozy rooms, beautiful balcony with greenery around. Awesome experience starting from booking date to check out. The owner is really nice and will help you out with everything you need. She's just a call away, starting from renting a bike to helping us get a taxi to airport. Location is also good. Away from busy and noisy roads, peaceful environment. Thank you.
