I honestly cannot recommend Belavista highly enough - it was the perfect landing spot for the start of my 3 month trip.
It’s so peaceful, and I had the loveliest bedroom in the main house with its own terrace ❤️ The sense of calm, tranquillity and overall wholesome feeling I experienced there was exactly what I wanted and just what I needed.
Sara and Margarida are truly beautiful hosts. As a solo female traveller, being welcomed into their home so warmly allowed me to fully relax into the experience from the very beginning.
And the cakes…WOW! Margarida is incredible - everything she makes is SO delicious. But beyond that, both her and Sara create something really special there. Sara has such a gift for bringing people together and creating a genuine sense of community. From family dinners, to days out, to showing us the most special spots for food, views and little adventures - they both go so far above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable.
And I can’t not mention Flora and Bobby - the friendliest dogs who completely stole my heart. I was missing my dog Marley back home, and they brought me so much comfort and joy during my stay ❤️
Belavista isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a feeling. It’s somewhere you arrive at as a guest and leave feeling like you’ve been part of something really special.
It set the tone for my entire trip in the most beautiful way and I’ll honestly carry that experience with me for a long time. I would go back in a heartbeat 🥰
Had the best stay at Belavista! Sara and her mom are super friendly and really make you feel at home. The terrain is beautiful and there are so many lovely spots in the garden to work from or to just relax.

I’ve stayed at Belavista for a month in September and I had the best time! The owners Sara and Margarida are the most amazing people and I can’t wait to be back next year! Being able to experience the Algarve as a local has been a great experience. I’m already missing Flora, Kiki and Oscar the furry security guards haha.

Bela Vista is honestly the most authentic place I’ve stayed in the Algarve. It’s sustainable, super chill, and really fits a digital nomad lifestyle... but what makes it special is the people. There’s such a strong sense of community here, everyone’s warm, open, and it just feels real. If you want to hang out, perfect! if there are days you don't feel social... great! no pressure:)
And Sara… she’s the heart of it all. Honestly one of the most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. She goes way beyond what you’d expect to make sure you feel at home. You don’t just stay here, you become part of something and honestly it feels so good. The only thing I'm not happy about it is the fact I didn't stay longer :P I'll definitelly return for some kite surfing lessons ;)
