BelaVista Coliving is something truly special in the Algarve. Beautiful beaches just around the corner, a warm and open community, and hosts who make you feel instantly at home.
What made my stay especially meaningful is that BelaVista also became a real home for my artistic practice.
I was welcomed to spread out my art supplies, set up an easel, and work freely on new pieces.
That kind of openness is rare.
It allowed me to create some of my strongest work during my time there.
I left with so much inspiration, gratitude, and a real sense of belonging 🌟
Amazing experience at the Belavista Coliving with Sara and her mom, I felt truly at home, nice environment, I actually went twice, once in May and again in June. Sara knows all the kite spots very well, many different spots, some of them we were the only kiters! Beautiful lagoons at the Ria Formosa park. She was also very patient with me since I am still progressing and was the first time "on my own" without instructor. She shared lots of helpful tips. On the other hand, there was a true sense of community with other guest, and the property is stunning with sea views, garden and lots of quiet land around.
I do recommend to everyone!
Belavista is one of those rare places that feels beautiful without trying too hard. Peaceful mornings, yoga by the pool, ocean views, family dinners that somehow turn into long conversations, and a community that makes it incredibly easy to feel at home.
Sarah and Margarida created something really special there — not just a coliving space, but an atmosphere. Warm, thoughtful, calm, and genuinely welcoming. I came for a month and left wishing I had booked longer.
If you're looking for a place to work remotely, slow down a little, enjoy a solid dose of kitesurfing, meet wonderful people, and romanticize your life for a while — this is the place!
Belavista is a beautiful place where you have everything you need for a short or long term stay. Beaches and Ria Formosa are in walking distance. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars in a short 5 minutes drive.

I honestly cannot recommend Belavista highly enough - it was the perfect landing spot for the start of my 3 month trip.
It’s so peaceful, and I had the loveliest bedroom in the main house with its own terrace ❤️ The sense of calm, tranquillity and overall wholesome feeling I experienced there was exactly what I wanted and just what I needed.
Sara and Margarida are truly beautiful hosts. As a solo female traveller, being welcomed into their home so warmly allowed me to fully relax into the experience from the very beginning.
And the cakes…WOW! Margarida is incredible - everything she makes is SO delicious. But beyond that, both her and Sara create something really special there. Sara has such a gift for bringing people together and creating a genuine sense of community. From family dinners, to days out, to showing us the most special spots for food, views and little adventures - they both go so far above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable.
And I can’t not mention Flora and Bobby - the friendliest dogs who completely stole my heart. I was missing my dog Marley back home, and they brought me so much comfort and joy during my stay ❤️
Belavista isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a feeling. It’s somewhere you arrive at as a guest and leave feeling like you’ve been part of something really special.
It set the tone for my entire trip in the most beautiful way and I’ll honestly carry that experience with me for a long time. I would go back in a heartbeat 🥰
Had the best stay at Belavista! Sara and her mom are super friendly and really make you feel at home. The terrain is beautiful and there are so many lovely spots in the garden to work from or to just relax.

I’ve stayed at Belavista for a month in September and I had the best time! The owners Sara and Margarida are the most amazing people and I can’t wait to be back next year! Being able to experience the Algarve as a local has been a great experience. I’m already missing Flora, Kiki and Oscar the furry security guards haha.
