Wonderful house, lovely and well equipped rooms, super nice hosts and staff!! We loved the handmade breakfast in the morning and the well equipped kitchen to prepare our own dinner. It was super easy to get in touch with other guests.
The house is perfectly located for surfing at arrifana beach and nice beach walks in the area. Vanessa and Dick created a little paradise - they are super friendly, caring and helpful!! We will definitely be back one day! Thank you so much for having us :)
Vanessa & her husband really put effort in their beautiful place which you can see and feel in all the cute little details! The stylish interior feels really clean, cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and they have a salt water pool!!! Better for skin & nature. They really do their best to work on sustainability and to connect with all the guest. We felt welcome, well taken care off and could recharge. Thank you and till next time for sure!!
We spent 4 nights at Birds of Paradise and it has been an enchanting break. Everything was perfect from the tastefully decorated room to the delicious locally sourced breakfast after a yoga class at sunrise. The owners were so welcoming and always happy to provide the best recommendations for activities or restaurants in the area. Thank you for the amazing time!
We had a great time with my wife! It was perfect to rest and to enjoy the nature. Amazing if you enjoy surfing, hiking, running, walking, yoga, etc. Breakfast was delicious, rooms very comfortable and staff was always alert, friendly and helpful to make our stay perfect. I put a 10 out of 10 as a score to this unique boutique guest house !
We have been welcomed as we were in our own family. A wonderful place with love in every little details in the middle of the most beautiful spots in Algarve. We appreciated a lot the attention to sustainability, the respect of biodiversity and the quality of the food served at breakfast. Thank you for everything. We wish to come back soon. I’ve been in Birds of Paradise for consecutive two years and I can’t recommend enough. The lodge is very well located in Vale da Telha, few minutes away by car from Arrifana beach or Monte Clérigo. The lodge is freshly decorated and has a chill atmosphere. The pool area and the common areas are very comfortable. The owners are there every day during breakfast and support you when you need. The breakfast is top class, very different from what you see in a common bed and breakfast. A selection of regional cheeses, quiche or salty pies, home made cookies, home made granola and plenty of other choices to accompany your coffee and tea are superb. Last but not the least, the rooms. They have different sizes and each room has its own charm and decoration. The mattress is so good that provides you an incredible sleep. Can’t recommend enough. This is a successful entrepreneurship tourism project run directly and daily by its owners, with passion.
