do yourself a favor and stay at Coliving Chingon. its close to everything. this place is a mix of many things. great place to meet people who are either working, traveling, or both. its run by a family who will make you feel at home.
I stayed at Coliving Chingon for five weeks and I can honestly say it was the best experience I could have possibly had. Juan and Johana are very welcoing from the very start. I always felt at home and comfortable in the house, and I met some very amazing friends.
There are many areas in the house where you can enjoy and relax. It is a beautiful space with lots of plants and natural light. The house was kept very clean with the help of the volunteers, Elizabeth and Caro, and the owners of the hostel. Almost every weekend we had a cookout or party of some sort on the roof. Caro organized some amazing parties while I was there, she invited local DJs, vendors, and small businesses to partake in the festivities.
The location of the hostel is very ideal. It is a 10 minute walk from the downtown main center. If you walk a few minutes in the other direction deeper into Col Americana you will find endless cafes, restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and shops, and nightlife.
Honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had. This is not just a place to stay, it's so easy to have this place feel like family. The staff is amazing and Caro hosts the best rooftop parties in all of Guadalajara! I stayed 6 weeks and the hardest part was leaving. I miss everyone dearly, and will surely be back. 10/10 recommend!!

Everything was good, manager was especially accommodating. For people with any claustrophobic senses dorms definitely a NO as they're enclosed capsules, but for most people that's not a problem. Everything else good, it's clean, quite, bed was very comfortable
Beautiful stay hosted by a lovely and friendly family. Juan's hospitality made me feel like I was right at home. Cohosted by volunteers, in particular Mireliz was wonderful throughout my stay. Lot of common space if you like to socialize. Also Location is walkable distance from metro.
I was here for a couple of days, I would definitely like to come back here if I am in Guadalajara again.
Great place with awesome staff, Juan, Mireliz, Jovani, etc. are all amazing. Had a great 3 week stay here and highly recommend. Gracias por todo!
Great building, lovely family who owns it, spacious rooms with good beds, plenty of bathrooms and a decent kitchen. I would go back any time!
