It was a good experience, people are very friendly and the house is very big and clean. The bathrooms and the kitchen is clean. The bed is in a cube and give you privacy. Mire was very friendly and all the housekeepers were been attention to the guest.
Great place with a homey feel. Centrally located in one of the best area and yet fairly quiet. It’s a great option while staying in Guadalajara, I can highly recommend!
Very nice and welcoming people! The location is perfect since the area is really nice, lots of shops and cafes, and most places are walking distance. Our room was huge, clean and very nice. Would definitely come back any time!
Excellent place to stay over the night or for long periods of time. Cozy, relaxed, and peaceful. People don't hold crazy parties in the rooms or dining room. All guests seem to understand this is a good place to sleep after touring the city and the staff supports this. They also have all sorts of rooms with accesible prices. Staff is also friendly, clean, discrete, and warm. You can also prepare your own meals in their very clean kitchen. Also, they have laundry service for a very affordable price.
I was really disappointed with this place - there is so much room for improvement, but it doesn't seem like staff or management is interested.
Staff does not even say hello when you enter the building, and this anti-social vibe reverberates through the other guests. I felt like I was a leper during my entire stay, and was basically depressed. No social events whatsoever during my stay, the group chat is also dead.
Also internet is not reliable upstairs, and there was only a half-hearted effort to fix it when I asked about it twice.
The space is mixed indoor-outdoor, a bit charming but also means that some areas are unprotected from rain and mosquitos roam the entire house. Would it kill you to have some sort of tarp and a couple of citronella plants?
Co-living? Co-working? Hostel? Nope. This is a guest house.
Pros - clean, the beds are comfortable, and the price is decent.
We were staying with our dog 🐶 3 nights in this really amazing coliving chingon hostel and it felt like we entre to a big family while you are having your privacy when you need. The rooms are big with a lot of space, windows to have fresh air, comfortable, enough space between the rooms so you can have your privacy when you need and no one will hear your talking. And there are a lot of comun places like kitchen, different balconies, rooftop,2 floors, sofa with Netflix.
Its in nice area, colonia americana that you can just walk 4 minutos and arrive to the meeting point of the free walking tour.
The best? They LOVE dogs! We came with a dog and everyone was so nice to here and even she had a friend to play with and also was ok to leave her when we left the hostel for few hours.
Its always very clean, nothing is miss and its boutique so only a bit of people that is nice. Most of the people there for long term and there are working spot that can be good for a nomad digital.
Juan and all the 5 guys that own this place where helpful, flexible, welcoming and I really really enjoyed staying there and would love to come back again!
The co-living building itself has much potential but there is still much to be desired.
Firstly, there are only 2 bathrooms for 11-12 rooms and the 3-4 people that work there. An absolute nightmare especially during peak hours.
There is no freezer if you want to buy some protein or ice cream to keep for the week or longer.
The building isn't secure. The electric fence doesn't work outside and the '24h video surveillance' signs are just for show. Centro near Federalismo isn't a safe area at night.
Moved to Nora co-living and hotel and it's much better in every way.
Would not recommend UCO and would never return.
Two stars instead of one because Tee, the manager is an incredible person.
