This is my second great experience at Cowool Cergy. Excellent property, spacious and clean apartments. Modern facilities, utilities, food snacks and drinks vending machines, laundry machines are available 24/7. Dynamic professional yet friendly team always ready to make you feel home. From the desk officers to the breakfast hostess to the night guards, all united to welcoming and assist you.
This is by far the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. After we complained, they apparently moved the party to the room above ours, and the noise was even more deafening. We had booked two rooms, but upon arrival, they couldn't find the second one. So our rooms were on two different floors, one across from the other. We were traveling with three children and four adults, which was very inconvenient. The elevator is small, and the sensors seem faulty; the doors slammed shut as I was getting in, aggravating my back pain (I'm disabled). The showers are another problem. Water seeped through cracks and flooded the floor. Luckily, we were on the first floor. The beds are rock hard and absolutely uncomfortable. We get it's New Years but 3 am was late enough that it should have been quiet. ( In France it's between 10 pm to 7 am)
If I could give this -5 stars I would. I came here with my family of 2 kids, 2 years and a 5 month old for two separate stays in a week. We first checked in on 9/13 and the room was cold and turned out we learned in the morning the heat was broken and a technician was coming the day we checked out. No use to us at all. We decided to check back in on 9/21 for 3 nights and checked if the heat worked, however, on the first night around 12am, the water completely shut off. The security guard on site told us there’s work being done in the basement and water will be off until 5am. We came back late from a family event and couldn’t shower, use the toilet, wash our hands, or anything. Ok.. we thought this is a one time thing so we complained in the am per the security guard’s suggestion. The next morning I filed a complaint to the manager, the women was typing and then she said sorry. That was it. My husband literally tripled checked AGAIN later in the afternoon to see if there was going to be any water maintenance happening and the male receptionist said NO so we decided to stay again. SHOCKER, that same night we got the kids to bed and not even midnight and the water was OFF AGAIN! Second night and my husband and I cannot shower, use the bathroom, wash our hands, get drinking water. We go down again and THERES NO WATER AVAILABLE IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING! HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL? The security guard’s looked and couldn’t find anything. Even he was baffled about the situation and was extremely apologetic. There was NO communication about the water being shut off at all, not even when we explicitly asked so we can plan ahead. Of course, we would’ve moved to a different hotel, we need working water! We tried to book another hotel but because it was so late everything was booked up or not accepting incomers. I witnessed several people come out to complain about the same exact thing. There’s only one security guard on hand who couldn’t help. He tried calling Ryan, the manager on duty and his phone was shut off. We ran into a woman who lives at the place, works there but was off duty and she was unable to help. WORST experience in my life. I’m never taking my family here again and I advise everyone to stay away at all costs! Just not worth the headache at all. Completely unacceptable management, horrible communication throughout the staff towards guests, and literally no one to help on site at night. Put a damn piece of paper at the very least to inform guests water will be off to prepare everyone. Buy water bottles in advance and place them outside each of the guests room. OR even better, CLOSE DOWN and refund guests until the water and heat issue is fixed to mitigate a biohazard situation, confusion, and wasting guests time 🤯 You’re telling me I can’t pee, poop, wash my hands for a room I paid for on a Friday and Saturday night between 12-5am on consecutive days?! Where can I get a lawyer for this?!
I booked a two-day room at the COWOOL Cergy Hotel at Paris Airport on August 28, 2025, around noon, using the Booking.com app. I arrived at the hotel that afternoon. The reserved room was on the ground floor, opening into the lobby, and it was noisy. The room also lacked air conditioning, making it stuffy and dark. Therefore, I immediately left the room and informed the reception desk that I was canceling my reservation. The next day, I went back to the hotel reception and asked if they had canceled my reservation. The reception desk confirmed they had canceled it and refunded the Paris city tax to my credit card. However, they did not refund the €80 that would have been required for cancellations. When I appealed to Booking.com, the hotel stated that they had not issued a refund because the reservation had not been canceled. If the reservation had not been canceled, why had they refunded the city tax that had been charged to me?
Ryan (the guy at the reception ) was the only good part! Then his manager made me paid 15 euro for a lost key. I m ok to pay.. not to get robbed. Breakfast for 12 euro? A joke!! Not worried at all. Ah if you take the hotel you need to get a car since it’s far away from everything .. so I had to pay 2 euros for a small bottle of water. 🃏🤡 Summary? Never again
I have been staying for 2 months, and it was very nice staying. The room is comfortable, we can use a cowork-spaces, gym and laundry machines, and easy to access to the station. And I would like to say the most wonderful thing is that pain au chocolat and croissant are very delicious ! A staff named Chaynesse makes tasty breakfast everyday, I appreciate your hospitality.🥐
I stayed for 2 nights and experienced no running water in the bathroom for two consecutive mornings. I reported the issue to the receptionist, who simply responded, "I can’t do anything about it… maybe send an email?" I was speechless—first for the inconvenience of having no water, and then for the lack of basic customer care. For 320 Euro, I expected at least the minimum comfort, like water in the room and a helpful response. Extremely disappointed.
The heating in the room was not working, and even after multiple requests in reception was still not working for 3 nights, last night I got a fan heater. Room lights are all independet and no single On/OFF at the entrance. Only 2 hangers for clothes, I had to ask more and bring them myself. No room phone to call reception. Breakfast is very limited but the croissants were nice and fresh. The lobby area is good but no reastaurant nor bar service.
