Very cozy and chill place. We stayed in the private room, it was everithing clean and organized and the balcony view was amaizing.

Genuinely one of the best, most hospitable and ideally located places we’ve stayed. This is our second time at Porto Santo Destination and we already look forward to returning. Highlight no.1 here is the staff, what a credit they are to the hostel! In particular Sofia and Alexandra, but indeed all the staff, were beyond helpful and kind. Super friendly and took every opportunity to make our stay as enjoyable as possible - for instance, on the breakfast that we booked, we were presented with a full sweet and savoury selection of breads, pastries and vegetables, juice and a choice of tea and/or coffee. Everything here is amazing for what you get, particularly considering the price to value ratio.
Highlight no.2 is the location in relation to the beach and end of the island; if you want to be close to Calheta, and in a calm and tranquil area, there is nowhere better. The 994 bus stops right outside the hotel for pickup, so was also ideal to get to the town centre.
The rooms are stylishly decorated, exactly like the photos. One underrated aspect I particularly enjoyed is the water pressure - in the shower and tap, this is super important (especially after being covered in sand!)
Overall, I’d wholeheartedly recommend - please just ensure you’re coming with the right expectations that this is a very well positioned and stylish hostel, rather than a hotel, as we witnessed some other guests who perhaps didn’t realise this. Thanks for everything team!
A place to relax and feel home. Friendly stuff, close to the beach and very calm
This was a great place to stay! The rooms were comfortable and had an ocean front view. It’s across from a bus stop but recommend getting moped or car.

Our arrival and departure were unfortunately marked by difficulties caused by the airline, not the hotel. Despite these challenges, our experience at the hotel itself was very positive – especially thanks to Fernando.
He went out of his way to support us and communicated with genuine care and efficiency. His outstanding help truly made a difference during a stressful time.
We’re very grateful and would absolutely recommend the hotel. We’d be happy to return in the future.

I loved it! The location was amazing, hotel nice and clean, kitchen well equipped. I feel happy and rested after few days in Porto Santo Destination. Sofia was lovely and very helpful during our stay. 100% recommend ❤️
