Established in 1984 to create a Nordic centre in the spirit of Findhorn, around a traditional 1890s building as a hostel for attendees of our courses.
We focus on events such as yoga, qi gong, dance as well as nature related courses such as forest gardening and permaculture. So there’s always something interesting happening here!
Surrounded by beautiful lakes and and nature walks. In summer there is a public swimming area and the possibility to rent a canoe. In winter you can ski around and ice skate on the lake.

Great place! They are super organized and have everything:the kitchen is super equipped, they even have a shop where you can buy dry food or snacks. The hosts are really nice and very welcoming! The place is not sparkling clean, though.
This is a one of a kind place. The people, the vibe, the friendliness of the community, all the possibilities and happenings surrounding this magical place. Beautiful nature all around. The hostel is simple and cozy and real. A place to experience human connection and relax.
Very good hostel, owned by a foundation I think? They can buy "fair trade" eco-grown products, etc
Can really recommend a stay here.
A fantastic place that I would love to return to. Perfect to rent for courses, parties, larger groups or just book your own room for a few days for some work peace. The yoga classes are great and the diversity garden magically beautiful. Go there!
