I only stayed one night at Hamlet’s Friends Co-Living, but it was enough to know I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.
What they’re building here feels genuinely special. It’s not just a co-working space with rooms attached. It truly feels like a real co-living community in the countryside built around creativity, connection, and good energy.
The co-working space is beautiful, the living spaces are thoughtfully designed, and even having a paddle court somehow adds to the atmosphere. But honestly, the people are what make the place. Everyone is super nice and there are interesting projects going on that bringing great energy into the pueblo itself.
You can feel the momentum of what they’re continuing to create here - and with a restaurant opening soon as well, it feels like this is only the beginning.
If you want a home away from home, this is the place to be! We spent 5 nights at Hamlet’s Friends this spring and was just what we needed. We were working remotely while enjoying the nature around. Marta and Nico were exceptional hosts.
Location:
Just a little over an hour from Madrid. It was very easy to get there using Google Maps. There is free parking available for guests.
Since we had a car, we could also explore some of the villages nearby and take a day trip to Toledo city.
Facilities:
We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin at the top of a hill and it was ideal for 2 people. We would eat breakfast outside of the cabin to get the morning sun and enjoy the view. The kitchen in the cabin is equipped with exactly what you need to make simple meals.
The bathroom is spacious and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. It almost felt like a spa.
The cabin also has 2 air conditioner, which could be use for cool down the place and also to heat it in colder nights.
I worked from the cabin and the WiFi was okay. However, they also have a co-working space near the cabins which I’ll be visiting next time.
I can only recommend this stay. We had a great time!

What a great place to stay, just wonderful. Martha and Niko are very helpful and a good source of information on the surroundings. Walking up the hills is certainly a good hike, and when on the top you enjoy an nice view on the valley. And for the coffee junks, they provide Nespresso in the clubhouse. No doubt we shall come to visit them again in the future.
Marta and Nico were absolutely amazing hosts. The place is so beautiful and you can tell every detail has been taken care of. Everything is super clean and comfortable. We will defo come back soon! Thanks guys for this amazing spot we have just discovered.

I randomly stayed at Hamlet's Friends at a long drive towards the south of Portugal, and I'm very happy that I've found this place. It's perfect if you love staying in nature and silence, but do want to have some company (as a solo traveler like me it's nice to have a little chat around). I decided to stay a night longer, because I liked it so much. The communal kitchen is great for making your own food. And the co-working space is so nice that in one afternoon I've worked through my whole to do-list. I already talked with friends to maybe arrange a workation week here together!
A beautiful spot to escape the city and recharge. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, the cabin was cozy and well-designed, and the co-working area was a real highlight – calm, inspiring, and great for focused work.
The hosts Marta and Niko are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You feel at home from the very first moment.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, work, and enjoy nature. Would love to come back!
