This coliving stands out a lot compared to the others on the island. Everything works great, especially wifi, and the jacuzzi is heaven after a long day of working. The host Leyber is very relaxed and positive person, and will keep you informed of all the cool local restaurants and activities, and often joins. With just 10 people I think it is great for getting to know the people better, it does not have this hostel or boy-scout camp feel that some of the other colivings have. Will be back as soon as i can!
I stayed for 3 weeks in Ikigai coliving and it was a great experience. The house is big but not too much to have at most 7 or 8 people. - The main room with the working stations is super quiet and the best place to work with view on the ocean and bananas trees. - The double bedrooms are also very spacious with a desk if you want to do some calls and more privacy. - The garden with the jacuzzi is the perfect place to chill out after a day of work! - The house is well located, 5mn of walk from the supermarket, 35mn walking from the center of Puerto de le Cruz and not far from any bus stop. Actually the public transport in Tenerife is pretty good if you don’t rent a car. Leyber is a wonderful host, super reactive if something fails and making sure you have everything you need. He’s also a perfect activity planner, always suggesting something fun to do on the evenings and weekends. If you are searching for a small coliving with a good ambiance between guests and a nice setting to work, don’t hesitate to try Ikigai.
Amazing place, really clean and has all the amenities for perfect remote working setup. Leyber is a great guy who cares a lot about the visitors and comes up with great activities for daily entertainment. One of the best things about the place is maracuya, mangos and avocados growing in the garden, so you can always enjoy some fresh fruit for your breakfast. Looking forward to staying at Ikigai again soon.
A well thought out co living space!! Location is good, close to the supermarket and also to the bus stop. Quiet area and really nice view from the balcony so makes your daily breakfast extra beautiful! Amenities are well maintained, very comfortable bed, working chair and desk, and kitchen utilities are in good quality, laundry easily accessible! Leyber is such a nice host, very relaxed yet very friendly! I love this co living, only stayed for a week and it was hard to leave! The space is well laid out for those who likes their personal space but also wants to have some socialising The jacuzzi and the hammock was of course a big bonus!
Great place, cool people, good vibes. Thought the house was amazing - broad views over to the mountains and the ocean, close to Puerto De La Cruz, close to great hiking. Everyone’s super nice and chilled. Definitely going back someday soon.
