My worst experience living in Medellin. Do not stay here, save yourself from trouble and headaches.:
Terrible Administration, they do not care about you, they see you as a WALKING WALLET, not as a customer. Rooms are small, closets are a joke, you can't fit 3 rags in them. Everything they offer is overpriced, 3 times more expensive than the average.
They charge guests with a "Damage deposit", which is supposed to be returned at check out. 4 months have passed and they haven't returned any of the money to anybody, I had to sue them.
The place is very expensive for what they actually offer, the location is noisy and dirty, you will not have a quiet hour, the place is dangerous, is not safe, way too many homeless people around the place. You can also find a lot of roaches in the apartment and there is always a problem with the internet and the water.
They say they will clean your apartment, but you have to beg day and night for it, they always lie, you cannot trust them.
If you are staying for more than ONE day, don’t choose this place! I made a reservation for 2 weeks but after 5 days I am canceling the rest of my stay to find another place.
There was food in the refrigerator when I arrived. I did not complain and simply threw it in the trash. But after staying for multiple days I now see the dirty refrigerator was a sign of overall poor management of this place.
WIFI IS TERRIBLE! If you have important meetings and work to do, DO NOT STAY HERE! each room has its own WiFi but I have not been able to connect on any of the 5 days I’ve been here. I have to leave my room to work on the roof or common areas which isn’t always convenient for my meetings.
There is always a line of Ants coming in and out of the walls and on the rare times I drop a crumb of food without noticing, I find hundreds of ants a few minutes later. There are also roaches at night that come from under the cabinets.
They don’t tell you that you are responsible for paying to use the ONE washing machine in the building to wash your own towels and bed sheets. I was informed there was a washer and dryer for clothes but not that I have to wash even the towels and bed sheets given to me by the hotel. The cost is 20,000 to wash and dry a single load and they do not offer detergent for washing so you have to buy that from a local store.
The noise is almost unbearable! I usually don’t complain about noise because I understand it’s unavoidable sometimes depending on the area, but this place is advertised as a great place to live and work but I can not hear during my work meetings online because of the loud traffic outside the thin windows.
WARNING !
If you want a good night sleep, this is unfortunately NOT the place to be : the street noise isn’t at all just a background noise 😞 and unfortunately this is the MAIN REASON WE DON’T RECOMMAND THE PLACE)
Also, two recommandations :
1. Make sure to verify everything’s in good order at the check-in or you’ll probably have to pay extra fees.
2. Make sure you have kitchen tools and ustensiles if you want to cook because those are absent of the studio (or at least there was none in ours).
Otherwise, architecturally speaking, the place offers a really great looking industrial/urban decor with a great terrasse and common areas to enjoy. Most part of the staff was also really welcoming ! Loved the omelette & croissant served in the morning !
In summary, great place but really bad location (it’s kind of a little bit sad cause the place really seemed to have potential with the project it offers) ☹️

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Inverso Coliving in Medellin, particularly in the Buenos Aires district. My stay was marred by a myriad of issues, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others.
Upon arriving at Inverso Coliving, I immediately noticed the challenging environment of Buenos Aires, which I now understand to be a less-than-desirable part of Medellin. The surroundings were not only uncomfortable but also potentially dangerous. It's important for future travelers to be aware of the location's issues.
The hotel itself proved to be a disappointing choice. The lack of proper amenities was immediately apparent, as the rooms were oppressively hot with no fans provided to alleviate the discomfort. This, coupled with the incessant noise, created an unbearable living environment.
The beds were another source of disappointment; they were incredibly uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. The overall lack of attention to the guests' comfort and well-being was evident throughout my stay.
Adding insult to injury, when I raised these concerns with the hotel staff and requested a refund for the remaining days of my reservation due to the unacceptable conditions, I was met with extreme resistance. Despite offering to forfeit payment for the first day, the hotel staff adamantly refused any form of reimbursement. This lack of flexibility and understanding is a clear indication of their unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction.
To make matters worse, the staff claimed that they had informed me of a no-refund policy upon payment. However, this was a blatant lie, as I was never made aware of such a policy during the booking process.
In conclusion, my experience at Inverso Coliving was a nightmare, from the uncomfortable living conditions to the unhelpful and rude staff. I strongly advise potential guests to steer clear of this establishment. There are undoubtedly better options available in Medellin that prioritize guest comfort, safety, and customer satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and frustration – avoid Inverso Coliving at all costs.
