Wow ! What a spot guys ! Very unique place to stay at. I’m used to high end hotels but was traveling with friends and we stayed here. Cool vibes all across 🙌 I had a separate house with my own little kitchen and shower which helped but the shared option wasn’t bad at all! The owner is super cool and when hot water didn’t work in my room he offered a discount. They do have vegetarian breakfast and dinner - girls cook both themselves and it was super tasty! Super chilled vibes, very green , very friendly - I wished I could stay longer !
Karma Hostel in Georgia offers a cozy, laid-back vibe—perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The dorms are clean and comfortable, common areas are inviting, and there's a relaxed communal atmosphere. Located conveniently near key sightseeing spots, it’s great value for money. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, and helpful local tips make it ideal for solo or budget travelers.
I had an amazing stay at Karma Hostel! Special thanks to Lucas — he was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the very beginning. The atmosphere at the hostel was fantastic, full of great vibes and positive energy. I genuinely enjoyed every moment there.
The breakfast was a real highlight — honestly, some of the best vegetarian food I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Easily a 10 out of 10 experience!
Although the rooms don’t have air conditioning, the ventilation was great with the windows open. The cool mountain air made the room very comfortable for sleeping — no need for A/C at all.
The room itself was clean and cozy, and the overall environment of the hostel made it feel like a perfect place to relax and meet people. I’ll definitely come back the next time I visit Mestia in the north of Georgia.
Thank you again, Karma Hostel, and especially Lucas, for a truly memorable stay!
My boyfriend and I got the chance to spend two nights at Karma hostel and we had the most beautiful time. Tucked away surrounded by nature it’s the best place to get away from the city. We loved everything about this place. What stood out to us the most were the cozy seating areas on the balconies and the beautiful garden, cleanliness everywhere, comfy beds, sweet animals and the wonderful volunteers who made us feel so welcomed. Very easy to make friends. The food they prepared was absolutely delicious and highly recommended! They really poured lots of love into it. If you don’t have a car you have to rely on hitchhiking or taking taxis to visit nearby spots. But due to the helpful and kind locals you won’t have any problems hitching a ride!
Overall 11/10☺️ Can’t wait to be back.
Great hostel run by very friendly and warm people. You feel home straight away and there’s always people around for a chat and a beer. The dinners are delicious and full of veggies!
The room we stayed in is very spacious and clean, lot of privacy also. It’s very close to the canyons and beautiful nature. We will come back for sure.
My friends and I booked three rooms for two nights at Karma Hostel. After the first the first night we notified the staff that we had to head back to Tbilisi for an urgent personal matter and that we would like to cancel the second night of our reservation. They said that would be difficult because it’s high season even though we booked the rooms the previous day and they were all available. I asked if we could just pay half of the second night and they still refused because they have a three day cancellation policy, which is fine but again, the rooms were not reserved even one day before. It was clear that they weren’t going to book those rooms either and that they were being inflexible simply because they could. We left at 10am and but ended up paying for the full next day, which felt extremely unreasonable. Karma Hostel seemed really nice but it’s clear they care more about money than karma.
I am with Ayala, and I had a different experience. The place is very basic, but cool. Great atmosphere and warm hosts. Lots of interesting people from all over.
Totally recommend it
