This is such a cozy and atmospheric place – it feels like you’ve somehow stepped into a wholesome TV show, where people from different countries stay on one big property, meet each other, talk, and have dinner together. There are wooden staircases, fairy lights, a bar, a yoga area, and cats, chickens, ducks, and a lovely dog named Madonna wandering around.
The studio I stayed in is located right on the property. It has very cozy lighting inside and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly friendly, and so was everyone else around.
They serve vegetarian breakfasts and dinners, and even just sitting nearby and watching the food being prepared felt warm and homey. I only stayed for one night, but I kept thinking that I would love to spend at least a week here – just relaxing, slowing down, and properly resting. This place really makes you want to do exactly that.
What stayed with me most was the atmosphere: peaceful, open, and genuinely kind. It’s definitely not called Karma for nothing!
It was the most beautiful room we had in Georgia. And we loved the open atmosphere and the food was amazing. Don't expect an authentic georgian experience but an amazing international hostel with the best people.
Absolutely a hidden gem full of magical people, super friendly vibes, INCREDIBLE VEG FOOD, overall felt like home. We got caught in rainy days = best place to be. Yoga shala with kettlebells and a bar. +. Books and games. Friendly chats with crazy adventurers and volunteers. Amazing all you can eat breakfast and dinners. A bar. Super cozy chill spots all over the place. Separate units with private bathrooms, and one huge one with a kitchen. For any budget. Also a must visit is the sulphur springs 25 minutes away. CRAZY PLACE, boiling water dropping from a waterfall, ice cold river, and hot pools to soak in that healthy sulphur.
The most adorable hotel in Georgia for me ♥️ Ver responsible, personal and creative project - exactly what we are sometimes lacking here in Georgia. From the first step i felt myself at home. Every person from the team was sharing their warmness, each guest was open and in just 1 night i meat soulmates that i would love to see anytime and anywhere in the world.
Food deserves Sundance’s festival gran prix) It was very special moments when we was enjoing Humay’s food. Appreciation of the products, beautiful textures and arty servings, flavor - everything was ♥️

Great Hostel with good Atmosphere. Friendly Staff
Rooms were a little over full as all the staff lives in there. No place to Hang your towels or jackets when wet as all occupied by the staff.
Dinner was amazing and well worth the money .Breakfast was a slight let down due to quality as most dishes were from dinner left overs.
Getting to Karma is being received by a hug, a hug that literally starts in the main door of the residence. I was here one month, from 21 December to 22 January 2026 and i had some of the best memories of my life. I was most of the time inside the house, but somehow all the stories, people, activities, community life you can have there had me so busy every day just enjoying great companionship, amazing food, all the people who comes here is very interesting and kind. I would totally go again to this home made with ALL the love, in every detail, the plants, the kitchen, the cozy spaces. Is beautiful to wake up in the morning with the birds, the cows in the distance, and if you go outside for a walk or nature the landscape is dreamy, so rural and pure. I will never forget Karma and all the sensations i had there, the energy of this home is outstanding and i cannot be more sure of telling you please you wont regret to go there, cuz you will be received by smiling people, also there are very happy and kind neighbors, incredible colorful sunrise, life is going smoothly here. THANKS KARMA and please you who are reading this, you wont regret to have this experience 🫶🏻
Super cozy place! Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. The food was absolutely delicious and a real highlight. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!
I was a workaway volunteer at Karma for 2 weeks in autumn and I must say that that was one of the best experiences of my life. staff, volunteers and guests were super welcoming and we managed to create a very cozy, warm atmosphere. the food served here is amazing, every day volunteers are cooking amazing vegetarian meals. Martvili itself has a lot to offer when it comes to attractions, it’s a beautiful place to be. Karma is the best hostel I have seen and I hope I will come back there as soon as possible, as a volunteer or as a guest :)
