Poor housekeeping. Stains everywhere. Buildings are fairly new. Unfortunately management or housekeeping team doesn't clean the couch properly. There are stains brownish at the sofar bed in the dreamer room. They should have used the vacuum + water machine to clean the stains but no effort done. Otherwise nice building. But those with cleanliness issue will have problems staying in some of the rooms. I only stay for 1 day so won't mind for a quick rest. But if longer I would surely ask for a better room or else would get a refund.
Service was great, room was comfy. But the sound proofing was lacking, you could hear the mrt going around and the mat rempits making noise outside. Other than that it was an amazing stay and value for money.
The room was too basic with only a 2in1 hair and body shampoo. No toothbrush nor any other toiletries. No slippers, no face towels. The housekeeping didn’t have them upon request as well so it’s really disappointing. Pillows are uncomfortable as well.
Front desk service is slow and there is no pickup when calling operator from room phone. I had to call from googled number to speak to housekeeping.
No value for the price paid it’s barely a hotel.
Well situated just off the main thoroughfares of KL, Komune at Bangsar South is a surprisingly quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle but also close enough to the old and new city centres for anyone hoping to explore KL and its surroundings.
Except for the ill-considered shower stall which leaves the entire bathroom floor wet after a shower, the rest of the room has all the amenities expected of any modern hotel room. Power points, lights, drapery, good pillows and a solid mattress make for restful sleep. A well appointed restaurant offers a diverse menu, and the friendly staff are both sincere and helpful . Just beyond the lobby entrance lies South Link across from Komune, with a minimart and several good eateries. A 4-5 minute walk away is KL Gateway Mall, for more heavy-duty grocery shopping.
I like the emphasis on sustainability- the water flask and fountain encourages the consumption of drinking water without single-use plastics and the removal of a mini-bar and a variety of conveniences is welcome. I do have a question about the odd ring from the room telephone though … why would it ring just once each time, some 6 or 7 times during my stay there?
Despite that, I did find myself enjoying the atmosphere and amenities at Komune. I shall return.
Pro: Good location, near to Mid valley mega mall, well furnished, clean, self laundry service, friendly staff.
Cons: Poor wifi signal, 4Mbs. Game room lack of maintenance of their equipment. Pool tables without chalk, pin pon ball not bouncing, table saucer weak air, arcade 1/4 working . 2 cups each room even thou we booked a quad sharing, extra cups to be charged, first time encountered such policy.
Everything was nice, super easy to check in and check out. Rooms, and the service was 5 star. Not expecting anything since the price was super cheap compare to others, but yes! Really amaze me, definately will come again !

Overall, my stay at Komune Living was a memorable and wonderful experience. With quality service, comfortable space and convenient location, I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice. I will definitely return to this hotel on my future trips.
