The entire experience was like home away from home. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating- this is the way hospitality used to be way back when 😀 The food is exceptional - freshly prepared daily. Definitely my new favourite stay in CPT. Well done Neighborgood- you got this just right!!

We have had occassion to book and stay at Neighbourgood Newlands. All levels of staff are most helpful and set on making the visitor genuinely welcome. The bakery, coffee shop and restaurant serve delicious snacks and meals. Business visitors and students will find the facilities ideal. Neighbourgood Newlands is ideally located and parking is secure. We'll done Neighbourgood Newlands, we will definitely visit again.
Overall, this is a nice hotel. However, they have to improve some of their services. For instance, my room was not ready when I arrived (I did it in the late afternoon), I had no response from their WhatsApp number (although they communicate with their customers using that app), and their rooms need some upgrades. On the other hand, most of the staff is very friendly and helpful, so no major complaints on that side. A plus, the location is great, near to a bunch of stores, a mid-size mall, and close to two metrorail stations.
The service was outstanding I would especially like to highlight Kaujisa at the reception, who was truly exceptional.

We had the most excellent 35 night stay in July and August. Neighbourgood Newlands is a fantastic place to stay. The location is great and the staff are excellent in every way - service, efficiency and friendliness. All staff pass you with a polite smile and greeting which always made us feel welcome and at home. The restaurant is excellent with good food and service with very reasonable prices and friendly, efficient staff. I highly recommend a relaxing carefree stay at Neighbourgood Newlands and we will most certainly be back there for all of our future annual visits to Cape Town.
Staying at Neighbourgood Newlands was beyond phenomenal. The location was super convenient: with shopping centres, Virgin Active and a 24 hour Woolworths all within about 150m. The rooms were comfortable and well-serviced, there is a fantastic restaurant on the ground floor and a large communal kitchen available in addition to numerous chilling and working areas. Above all, the friendly staff and good people who were checked in with us made our stay quite unforgettable. Highly recommended!
