Terrible Experience at Neighbourgood hotel I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for a week, and it was a disaster from start to finish. Here are the issues I encountered: - Unclean Room: The room wasn't cleaned until I complained, and even then, it wasn't done properly. - Filthy Floor: The floor was dirty, and when I spilled water and wiped it up with a towel, it turned black. I doubt the staff ever mopped the floor during my stay. - No Air Conditioning: The hotel doesn't mention that it has no air conditioning until you read the Q&A section, which is easily overlooked. They only told us upon arrival yet some guests said they had. Spoke to 2 other guest and they said they had but we Didn't. We were unable to get a refund and were forced to stay in the sweltering heat. - Inadequate Response: When we asked to change rooms, we were told it wasn't possible, except for a differently abled room, which was offered due to the extreme heat. - Maintenance Issues: The room had no hot water initially, and when it was fixed, the water kept leaking, flooding the bathroom every time we showered. - Lack of Amenities: Some days, we didn't even receive bath towels, only hand towels. Overall, my experience at this hotel was appalling, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Decent value for money. Perfect for a few nights if you just need a clean and modern hotel room. Comfortable and clean with some nice amenities. The staff stood out for me as they were switched on, helpful and welcoming.
Staff at the reception was really helpful and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were clean. The restaurant area is very pleasant with good choices. The swimming pool is more like a big jacuzzi and very dirty. We also found out once there that there was no air-conditioning working. When you get into your room you switch the air conditioning on in your room because there is an A/C monitor. When on it is extremely noisy. Hours later there is no improvement. You then believe that you were unlucky with your A/C that it had packed up! You then read Google reviews to find out that the whole place does not provide A/C. Why isn't this made clear at check in and a fan be offered as an alternative. Did not appreciate the tiny sprinkle of water through the electric tap in the bathroom either.
Our extended stay was for a few months. We cannot recommend this hotel enough for its superb location, comfortable rooms and especially it's warm and friendly team who are all charming. We enjoyed the restaurant breakfasts and late snacks and loved the smoothies. Thank you to this amazing team for ensuring our stay there was wonderful. Alana & Derek
Well situated. There is a pool but the water was freezing. Staff are fantastic. Some are deaf so don't take offense if they don't respond at first. There is a restaurant with good food. There is a full kitchen where you can make your own food with dining area. A spa is on your right when you walk in. The lasy gives wonderful messages there. You can do yoga classes and cooking classes there. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. But you can't change the air conditioning. Rooms get a bit hot. Water pressure is low on the showers. But they keep things clean bedding gets changed every 3 days and you can do long stays as well.
