**Review for Nomadico Bansko Coliving** We stayed at Nomadico Bansko Coliving for a month in May and had an amazing experience. Ivan, the owner and cook, was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing delicious meals and maintaining a clean, comfortable space. Sabrina and Camille, our community manager, created a warm, family-like atmosphere with their fantastic weekend trips and community bonding activities. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a productive and welcoming coliving environment.
I had been told great things about their Madeira location, which is a B&B they take over out of season. However there’s a fundamental flaw with these other locations being called coliving or coworking, as they are essentially neither, just a seasonal deal offering rooms from an existing provider with nominal facilitation added on. But I’m a coliving and coworking purist. ;-p This property is a guesthouse and restaurant, and remains open to punters. The rooms are quite nice (mine even having a sofa) and food decent. Hardly uncommon. The shared space which is usually the foremost benefit, is barely worth mentioning, and the kitchen (ideally the heart of any home) is for the restaurant, which is well for eating so even when empty good luck trying to sit comfortably to work — same can be said for ‘desks’ in bedrooms though quite typical in hotels and guesthouses as they simply haven’t moved with the times. (So I went to an awesome coworking nearby, albeit an extra expense…) Their business model (or rather partner criteria) just doesn't seem to match an audience of working professionals, though I understand folks only doing shorter escape stays are quite happy to make do… The events are partly just those held in town anyway albeit hosted in the restaurant. Hard to identify and chat with others from the same building whom I only crossed with twice in two weeks. Otherwise entirely organised on a Whatsapp group which rather destroys actually bumping into fellow residents in person, in shared spaces — a coliving and coworking. I could pick more holes such as with the on and off boarding, but I think if you haven’t experienced other great colivings this is still passable, and I'm a pedant.
Great place to live and work from. Matilde, the Community Manager made us feel right at home straight away and we met a great group of remote workers there to hang out with. The locations perfect and Adriana and the host family are very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and the room had a nice desk to work from and an exceptional mountain view. My first Nomadico experience but won't be my last!
A wonderful coliving in Bansko. I stayed here for a month and have only good things to say. The hostess did a great job of welcoming me and making sure I had all of the information I needed about the coliving, the town, and events happening around Bansko. There are many fun events here to connect with other nomads and locals. The coworking downstairs is a good place to work and the Wi-Fi always works well. This was my first coliving experience and I’d happily come back to stay in the future.
Great experience working from here! Very comfortable rooms and hospitable family runs the place. The apartments are awesome and the mehana is super traditional. Adriana and Matilde are the nicest hosts you could hope for and really make the place feel like home.
Lovely place! Really comfortable to work in, nice people around, great food, and I can let my puppy chill on the floor while I work. I spoke to the staff there too and they all seem very nice too. I look forward to making this my base to work from over the summer and beyond!
