It's a very nice and beautiful place to work remotely with nice coffee and food (they changed location, so don't go to the old one ;)), but..... Me and my friend are not going there anymore as it is too expensive to work. They charge a minimum of 15 dirham an hour and above that you have to order drinks and/or food. For Moroccan standards that's quite expensive. I am traveling and (remote) working all over the world and in my opinion the best way is OR charging guests an hourly/half day/daily rate OR let them work free of charge when they spend a minimum amount of money on food and drinks. I really hope this place will get more guests, bc now it just doesn't work.
I like the concept, but not the execution. I’ve been to other co-working spaces before, and this one was my first real disappointment. If you come alone, you can either choose to sit in a private cubicle or share a table with a stranger. You’re charged by the hour: 15 dirhams for the shared space and, if I remember correctly, 25 for the private one. These prices include no drinks, which I find to be a rip-off by Moroccan standards. In a cyber café, you pay less and get more privacy. Unless this place is not aimed at Moroccans, which could explain it. The other co-working spaces I’ve been to don’t charge by the hour. You order your drink or food, and after two hours or so, depending on how busy the place is, the waiter brings you the menu again to order something else. So unless you're a digital nomad or someone traveling and working remotely with a decent income, this is probably not the place for you. If you're a student who needs to study or prepare for long hours, I suggest looking elsewhere. This space just doesn’t serve your needs.
Went for a meeting and it had very good wifi connection in the private box which was 30dh/ hour.
We went there to work during our stay in Essaouira. Reliable internet, relatively quiet environment. The daily rate includes coffee, tea and filtered water. They even offer lunch some days. Cowork closed on Saturday and Sunday.
For anyone wondering: They have 100mbit WiFi , which is very stable and has a low latency. By far the best connection I had in all my time in Morocco. The place is also very cozy, clean and offers great service. I would stay there again, anytime.
A really beautiful Coworking space with great wifi speed! Coffee, tea and water included in the fare. The staff is really nice. Unfortunately the power outlets of the terrace were not working, keep that in mind if you opt for the lower fare
Great place to co-work in Essaouira. Internet is very fast (also on the terrace). The atmosphere is very relaxed and perfekt for working. Also the "open space areas" are quiet and good to work concentrated. They also serve great coffee and amazing fresh snacks. Hope to work there someday again in the future.
