The building is fancy, but the management is incredibly arrogant and they neglect the small things. When we arrived the internet wifi didn't work in our room, which was particularly a problem because we needed it to download an esim. We tried and tried and it kept going on and off, while we were wasting time, relogging in, rebooting the computer etc. Finally the nice woman at the desk said we could switch to a different room (the desk staff is nice, just not the management). So we packed up and waited around because she had to wait until she was free But that didn't work either, so we repeated the process and packed up again. Finally it worked in a third room, although by that time we'd spent like 2.5 hours. And they never fixed a light that didn't work or the curtains that didn't close completely so we were flooded with morning light. We told the nice woman that we thought it was reasonable that they refund us something for our wasted time, because I'm a writer and needed wifi for work. And they build themselves as a place where you can work. She passed on the message to management, but we never heard back We asked them about it again the next day and they said they'd pass on the request, but nothing happened. Then the third day. They said they'd check again and get back to us but never did. On the fourth day, a woman at the desk finally said she'd asked the management and we could get a free cup of coffee at the cafe. That felt incredibly insulting. Bottom line, it has lots of things going for it, but tons of wasted time, tons of unresponsiveness, and incredible arrogance when I raised the questions so I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. We would totally recommend Montevideo and Uruguay where everyone else has been nice.
Stayed last night. It's ok, would not really recommend. Room was relatively clean. Internet keeps dropping. Got catfished on the bikes, in the image it shows loads, but those are not for rent. They only have three bikes for the whole hotel which is completely ridiculous! Edit: forgot to mention the hallways smell like someone pooped in every corner (delicious!)
The place is amazing but they charge you 5% plus if you pay with credit card (if you don't pay cash or bia transfer), not only the room rent but also the deposit (+5%) and ok, they let you know in advance about this extra charge, so is on you to pay it if you don't have a way to do a transfer to the Uruguayansavings bank account. Now, the real issue is the refund of the deposit. I required the refund of the deposit to be made in my credit card (since that was the payment method I used and agrred the +5% pls) and they refuse, either I'll accept the deposit refund cash or transfer to an uruguayan saving accounts. How? I was a tourtist. At the end I agreed to receive the deposit back in cash but it cost more to pay it from my credit card due to all the come and go with the banks.
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a superb experience! As we took the morning ferry we could check in also a little bit earlier, which really made it comfortable for us. The facilities are new, modern and very clean. We were suprised it includes also a sauna and spa, co working spaces, fully equipped kitchen and a infinity pool. The only thing we didn't like was the fact, the room is kinda dark as there aren't many lights. Breakfast is served from the cafeteria where you have 3 options to choose from. Thanks!
OPTA coliving is a game-changer! The facilities are top-notch, and the community is super friendly. Great location, excellent management, and awesome amenities. Highly recommend for a hassle-free living experience – I'm so glad I chose OPTA!
OPTA coliving is fantastic! The space is modern, clean, and perfectly designed. Friendly community, great amenities, and excellent management. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient living experience – loving it here!
Beds are very comfortable. Location is on a fairly quiet street and close to the ocean. There are restaurants and shopping nearby. No real temperature control in the rooms. Bathrooms smell of sewage sometimes. Service is mostly attentive and pleasant but there were a couple of exceptions.
Stayed only one night and wish it was longer. Comfy room, good atmosphere and amazing facilities! (Free bikes, gym, sauna, pool, spa, laundry). Very impressed
