Had a great time at Outsite Ericeira! Perfect location, just minutes from downtown and the beach. The house itself is gorgeous, with lots of natural light, a spacious kitchen, living room, and co-working space. Would highly recommend the rooms on the third floor. The best part, however, was the housemates and community manager, Veronica. The people were kind, interesting, and we all genuinely loved hanging out together. My only piece of advice would be to arrange better coverage when a community manger is taking a much-deserved vacation. Ours was away for a couple of weeks and we definitely missed out on the planned events, community feel, and troubleshooting things at the house. Otherwise, incredible stay! Could not recommend enough.
Had a 5 week stay at the house and met some amazing people. Surfed, mountain biked, hiked and played volleyball. The town itself is super chill and easy going with great food and music throughout the week. Veronica, the community manager, was the best! She always made sure everything in the house was going smoothly and gathered the house together for community events throughout the week.
I had an amazing stay this spring at Outsite Ericeira! I instantly felt at home - the house is very comfortable and clean, the housemates fun and welcoming and Veronica made our stay even more easy and fun. The location can't be more central - within 1-5 minutes you're at nice (coffee) shops, restaurants, bars yoga studio and beaches. I would definitely recommend Ericeira if you're looking for a chill vibe with fun and interesting people from all over the world, with a relaxed lifestyle. A lot of people keep coming back or even move here...
I stayed at Outsite for a month (May 2023) and absolutely loved it. I will say, Bedroom 3's window in the bathroom opens to the deck...so you have to be careful not to flash your housemates if you're in the shower. Veronica (house manager) was so helpful: I got bronchitis and she directed me to a clinic, as well as helped me find the surfboard I used for the duration of my stay! She and my housemates during that time made the trip extremely memorable. The blackboard had great suggestions for things to do in town as well. I just wished the surf was better in May ๐Ÿ˜†
My month-long summer stay in Ericeira surpassed all my expectations and stands out as one of the Outsite destinations I'd gladly visit again and again. While a 30-day minimum stay might seem lengthy for the average digital nomad, it proved to be the perfect duration for building deep connections with housemates, which is often something I find most challenging in the transient nature of the typical co-living space. The house manager, Veronica, was genuinely available around the clock (both physically + virtually), and went great lengths to ensure everyone's stay was as close to perfection as it possibly could've been. She went above and beyond, offering recommendations, coordinating group events and while there were a few issues that occurred (ie., water leaks, hot water outage, dryer malfunction), she was extremely attentive to each and every matter and had them resolved almost immediately. While the house could use a couple upgrades such as the outdoor deck and rooftop for usability and comfort (ie., more furniture, shade tents, etc.), the location was more than ideal. It's situated perfectly in town, and within walking distance to a plethora of things to do. Even as someone who doesn't surf, I hadn't once experienced a moment where I felt bored. There are SO many excellent restaurants, cafes, summer parties and 5+ stunning beaches within walking distance. Ericiera is unbelievably charming and even in peak summer (July), never felt overrun with tourists which pleasantly surprised me as a European beach vacation destination. I can't wait to come back soon, and sincerely hope that Outsite considers implementing the 30-day minimum stay in other locations. Having stayed at 8 different Outsite locations thus far, this experience in particular has truly been one of the more remarkable stays I've had.
