🏨 has short staysFine for a workation, but significant turnover works against coliving principles for a cohesive community; a longer minimum stay supports better interactions. What is coliving?💁 has host / managerOften on site to give suggestions and take questions, but do not actively facilitate community.🤷 ranks poorlyAs a 'coliving' this space likely doesn't meet expectations — yet may be acceptable if you're not expecting too much. Beautiful places to stay, designed for remote workers.

Our stay at Outsite Riad was absolutely perfect! The space is beautifully designed, peaceful, and ideally located in the medina. What truly made the experience unforgettable was Hassan, incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. From personalized tips to warm hospitality, he truly made us feel at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakesh!
Fantastic hotel. Amazing location not quite in the middle of noisy centre but very walkable to everywhere youd want to go. The hotel itself was beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing. Our room was clean with decent aircon and a nice bathroom. Hotel has a sauna free to use as well as a large terrace to enjoy the weather at home. The pool was a life saver on hot days at a perfect cooling temperature. Breakfast there was one of the best we had in morrocco, amazing since it was included in the room price. It was served at 8:30 which was somewhat late for our liking since by the time you’re finished it’s started to get hot outside and the tourist attractions become much busier but it was delicious and filling nonetheless. General vibe was so relaxing and peaceful for such a great price. Cant recommend enough!
I had an amazing 5-week stay in Marrakech and would have happily stayed longer! The property had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and I made lasting friendships during my time there. As a solo female traveler, I also felt very safe throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
While there were a few areas that could be improved — such upgrading the bedding and linens and enhancing overall cleanliness and maintenance — these were relatively minor issues in the grand scheme of things. They wouldn’t deter me from recommending the property.
All in all, the positive aspects outweighed the small inconveniences. I’m grateful for my time here and would definitely consider returning!
This is a very long overdue review (I stayed in October last year) - First I want to say the best part about this location was that staff and team. They are all incredibly friendly and helpful and provide you with great service. I think there are pros and cons to this property. Inside the medina I think most properties in the riad format struggle with a bad smell. Due to the large number of cats roaming around everywhere there is always kind of a lingering smell of cat urine which I personally am very sensitive to. The property could benefit from a very deep cleaning. Thankfully the smell didn't permeate the rooms, but I found it too strong in the shared spaces to want to utilize them for coworking or hanging out. This property is alos open to the public so you won't have just Outsite folks staying there. The room itself (I was on the roof in one of the rooms) was quiet for the most part and the facilities on the roof were nice, given they are open air. They also have a little pet turtle who is super cute :) One major benefit is they provide free breakfast each morning so I really enjoyed that benefit. So if you're not very sensitive to smell I would overall recommend the property.
I had a great time at Outsite Marrakech! Met great people and even got some work done :) I was there for only a week, but it was enough to get a sense of the place. I liked the location inside the medina. Wonderful sites, shops and restaurants, yet quiet inside the riad, perfect for work on the rooftop and downstairs. There are lots of little quiet corners where you can get work done. At the same time, socializing is available pretty much every breakfast, lunch or dinner, if you want it. Easy enough to do groceries or have them delivered. There were too many amazing restaurants and bars around to keep a healthy budget! All in all, it was a great experience. It was my first Outsite, but I'll definitely do it again!
Leaving this place was the one of the hardest travel-related activities for me. Outsite Marrakech is the golden standard for what travel accommodation should be. Of course, it is far more than travel-related accommodation. It is a co-living setup that facilitates the type of organic interaction and social serendipity that many solo travelers and digital nomads seek while away from their homes. The Whatsapp group for the Riad adds another layer to facilitate connections between guests that have not necessarily crossed paths in any of the Riad’s common spaces. This place is an interior decoration masterpiece. The clever use of light and foliage make its visual aesthetic an exemplary art form. Nowhere else I’ve stayed comes remotely close to this. The team here has paid attention to every minute detail – a washer/dryer for laundry on the rooftop, filtered water (in case anyone runs out of bottled water), a great office space, a separate room for work calls, a sauna, a swimming pool, an elaborate breakfast (nowhere else I stayed at during my trip in Morocco offered such an extensive spread), bedrooms (with attached private bathrooms) that are well set up for those that want to work in their rooms, and a fantastic rooftop with a straight line of sight to the minaret of the Koutoubia mosque. Pre-arrival correspondence with Hassan was prompt and incredibly detailed. Othman deserves an award for his boundless patience as I hurled an endless barrage of questions at him constantly. His smile and voice are together therapeutic for anyone that has the privilege of interacting with him. Last, but not least, the location. I cannot think of a better location within the Medina. Its proximity to Jema El-Fna square and Bab Elk Sour in a part of the Medina that does NOT feel like a labyrinthine maze is one of its greatest assets. This absolutely matters because getting lost in the Medina is an incredibly unpleasant experience (chances of it happening close to Outsite are minimal) especially late at night when the shops of the Medina close. Shopkeepers are generally helpful but once they’re gone, the only people to help are opportunistic vultures that offer to help with directions and take folks in the absolute opposite direction and then demand significant payment to bring them back to where they were. I saw none of these folks near Outsite – since their relevance is non-existent in this part of the Medina. Outsite Marrakech is also separated from the noise of the city. Even at 50% occupancy while I was there, I was able to meet others and got a couple of folks to join me for dinner on my second night there. Outsite Marrakech will always put a smile on my face. Hands down one of the greatest places I have EVER stayed at. Hassan, Othman, and Zakaria – you guys make a FANTASTIC team!
The hosts I interacted with (Hassan, Othman and Zak) were all very kind and welcoming. This location was my 1st Outsite and I had a great experience. A few things I appreciate about this place were the filtered tap water onsite to refill your water bottles, the ability to do your laundry for free even with soap provided, use of the kitchen to make yourself tea at any time and being able to enjoy the hammam all to yourself at any hour. This spot was centrally located to all the things I wanted to do in Marrakesh: museums, historical site seeing, dining, shopping in the souks (local markets). It was smack in the middle of all my saved pins on google maps so I felt strategically located for exploring the city by foot. I’m a digital nomad and really valued meeting other remote workers staying here to go share a meal, etc. Recommend!
