Great co-living space super nice, staff friendly and is on top of it. I personally just use text to communicate. Super easy great space and nice on the budget. But you get t meet all kinds of cool people from around the US states and World. Awesome location right by the redline sunset/vermont metro (subway) station, plus lots of Metro Bus lines that will take you anywhere you want to go in LA. Google maps is your best friend....and if internation google translate. Highly recommend 8
I’ve been using these hostels for few years now I’m a southern California resident and sometimes have things come up where I need to spend the night in Los Angeles area. The hostels are always nice and clean that are owned by this company. The staff are always kind and helpful to the guests. This hostel is was clean has a nice kitchen and a clean bathroom. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and secure here. All the other guests were respectful of my space. It was quiet. I’m on a budget and Sometimes I need an inexpensive place to stay after my doctors appointments in the area or sometimes I need a safe place to sleep after a fun event and relying on public transportation from out of town, It’s not always possible to go home the same day. I love this hostel very much because they allow Southern California residents to stay here. It’s affordable I feel comfortable. It’s clean. They keep the facility Nice. I highly recommend. And would recommend to others. When I need a safe place to stay in LA on a budget this is where I’ll go. Thank you so much!
Super convenient and easy for a last minute pinch for a place to rest over.
If you’re doing a solo weekend in the city and need a place to crash, definitely a great spot.
A bit more toasty and stuffy than what I prefer but cozy enough to recuperate.
Accommodating to most needs and a nice calm spot in the morning to get centered for the day ahead. Easy, quick, and affordable for that last minute pinch to hold you over for a weekend.
Highly recommend and will be back soon enough.
This is my second time staying at PodShare Hollywood on Cosmo street. The first time I was here was back in November of 2025 because I went to The Academy Museum and to see the Paranormal Activity Play and the service then was exceptional. Abby is great and so are the other staff here as well. I was here this weekend March 21st-22nd for The Gabriel Iglesias and Jo Koy event at Sofi and decided to book with PodShare again and to no surprise my stay was great again. I think what I love most about staying here over a traditional let's say hotel is the fact that it's in the Heart of LA and they let you check in at 10:00AM and you are immediately able to start relaxing or using the common area. The hostel was kept clean and the beds were comfortable too. I definitely will be back.
Its a super convenient location near a metro station. Dont expect quiet nights. Theres a club across the alley. So it can be loud until 2am...especially in the weekends. One dorm smells.
We and my partner like to stay at this location anytime we are in LA to go to universal. Its in a good location to get to the metro to get around.
Was not at all as described on the website. It was cheap and served it's purpose, decent location. All beds are in one room, with a door that goes into a hallway and to a second room with a similar setup. They turn the lights out at 10 but people come and go all night, alllll night. The door to the hallway isn't locked. There are long term tenants (years) but you can't refer to them as tenants bc then the owner would have to background check them. LOCKERS ARE AN ADDITIONAL COST, if there's any available (they get rented out for the day to people not even staying there). The owner came through, brought a chaotic energy, requested privacy in the second room so she could do a video audition and you could hear her screaming. Like I said, it served it's purpose....I don't anticipate utilizing any of the affiliated locations based off my experience at this one.
Excellent location; very walkable and quiet. The staff here were EXTREMELY kind and welcoming. Every single interaction with staff was professional, courteous, and frankly: above and beyond! Would definitely return!
