We stayed at The Void in Bhagsu for 2 days and absolutely loved our experience! It’s a beautiful property surrounded by nature yet easily accessible — calm, peaceful, and away from the usual tourist chaos.
Hosts Shrikanth and his wife are genuinely warm and welcoming. After a 12-hour drive, we were exhausted, especially since another property (booked for ₹6,000 a night) refused us even a 1-hour early check-in. I randomly found The Void online, called them, and from the very first conversation, the host was so kind and accommodating. They got our room ready in just 35 minutes even though we arrived before check-in and made us comfortable in their cosy lobby area in the meantime.
The rooms were spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had a huge balcony where we enjoyed the morning sun and mountain view. The food was homely and delicious, and the rates are very reasonable for the kind of comfort and hospitality offered.
They even have a dedicated workspace setup, almost like a mini office, which makes it perfect for anyone wanting to work remotely while enjoying the mountains.
Overall, it’s a wholesome, peaceful stay with lovely hosts, great food, and everything you need for a comfortable workation. Highly recommend The Void to anyone visiting Bhagsu or Dharamshala!
This place is not just another place, it's an emotion. Fast uninterrupted internet, co working space, awesome food with a great cafe are just spot on.
What makes this place really special is the people running this property.
Srikant (one of the hosts) is a gem of a person, super humble and will do his best to resolve any concerns if you have. Kartik and Kirpu ji are always there to handle any requests. Shruti is super sweet person and won't mind offering sweets from her mother :-)
I spent around 2 months there, did treks, celebrated Diwali, bike rides, water fall dips, had one of the best connections.
Just be aware it's an addiction if you stay there for more than 3 weeks. You might be extending more than you planned.
Would be coming back for sure.
🌿 My Stay at The VOID – Truly a Second Home 🌿
The VOID really feels like a second home! From the moment I arrived, Kartik and Raghav, the amazing hosts, made me feel so welcome — it instantly felt like family. The place has a calm, peaceful vibe, perfect for relaxing or getting some focused work done in their cozy coworking space.
The on-site café is wonderful — you can find everything to eat there, and I absolutely loved their spring rolls! The rooms are super clean and open up to a beautiful forest view where you can spot different birds throughout the day.
If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great food, nature all around, and the warmest hospitality, The VOID is the place to be. I can’t wait to go back! 🌱✨
I stayed at The Void in Bhagsu Nag for a month, and honestly, it felt like home from the very first day.
The host, Shrikant, was incredibly hospitable and made sure everything was taken care of, and is perhaps the only host around here who you can get advice on building AI agents :P
The staff - especially Kartik and Kirpu Bhaiya - were so polite, attentive, and always ready to help be it for meals or laundry services.
I was away from my family during both my birthday and Diwali, but everyone at The Void went out of their way to celebrate with me, which was a great touch.
The place itself is perfect for a workation - there’s a comfortable coworking space with fast, reliable internet.
Bhagsu is peaceful but still well-connected - Dharamkot, McLeodGanj, and even the Triund Trek are all nearby and super easy to reach.
If you’re looking for a place that balances nature, comfort, and community, the Void is the place to stay at.
I had a lovely stay at The Void during my workation. Being in Bhagsunag, I regularly went for cold dips in the temple complex swimming pool and the waterfall. There are some good sunset points like Shiva Cafe and nice coffee spots around. There is a mini gym which I used during the stay and a bigger gym near McLeod. Tushita is a nice uphill walk about 25-30 mins; but I like to go there only once/twice a week. Also got a lot of work done, as this was a workation for me. On weekends, one we hiked to Triund or can go to the waterfall near Gallu Devi (this one can do from any place alike); but it was fun with the community. Most people were doing some or other work out of the space; so it was easy to focus on work.
I stayed at the Void for a month. This was my first staycation and it couldn’t have been better. The hosts Raghav and Shrikanth are really nice, friendly and approachable. They make sure you have a great time at The Void. Kartik, who is a manager at the stay, will assist you for every requirement from your check-in till check-out. They have a common area right at the entrance of the stay which makes it easier to connect and network with other people at the stay. I have made so many friends here. The people are really nice, locals are also friendly. The stay is also very close to the main road and 1 min walk away from the nearby general store. So you don’t have to worry about important necessities. The stay is at a 20 min walk from McleodGanj main square and also a 20 min walk from Dharamkot. So for me it was the perfect sweet spot. I was able to visit and spend time in McleodGanj, Dharamkot and Bhagsu without spending a penny on travelling. The food at the Void cafe is also very tasty, and prices are pretty reasonable. They even customise based on the requirements of the guests. I had no issues with respect to food here. No complaints. And I will surely return whenever I get a chance. Thanks Team Void for making my first workation experience so amazing. I plan to do more of such long travels now but first ones are always special 🫶
The Void is a great place to stay and work. The location of the property with the hospitality and amenities makes it a perfect recipe for the much needed break from mundane routine anyone is looking for. The surrounding is quiet, away from noises with an amazing view of mountains. The location is perfect for small hikes to waterfall and oak forest.
Special shout out to Kartik who makes sure your stay is as comfortable as possible and Kripu ji who makes sure your daily needs are met keeping in mind your work schedule (your meal is ready exactly at time you wanted to).
Void is the best place for workaction and will highly recommended to everyone.
