When I first came to Mexico City, I picked this place cause I liked the neighborhood and I was looking for a coliving & coworking place. But since I’ve been here (multiple times this year) I’ve noticed that people keep coming back. During my recent stay in October, there were 4 of us who all had returned after traveling to all sorts of other countries. A lot of people say this place feels like a second home. I highly recommend this place, the staff, and the community!
I had the most incredible stay at this hostel! It’s the definition of an authentic hostel experience- warm, friendly, and effortlessly sociable. The people here are unbelievably generous, and because everyone lives together in such a relaxed environment, it’s so easy to meet new friends from all over the world.
The rooms are spacious, and the showers are absolutely perfect. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of Roma Norte, which is not only stunning but also so much more enjoyable than staying in the historic district. You’re close to amazing cafés, vibrant streets, and the best the city has to offer.
And a special shoutout to Alonso, the host—he’s truly exceptional. He goes above and beyond for every guest and makes sure you have everything you need. His care and hospitality take the experience to a whole new level.
If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with great people, perfect amenities, and an unbeatable location-this is it. Absolutely loved my stay!
Best co-living and hostel in Mexico City ! Perfect location and great staff especially Alonso and the cleaning staff
Stayed in a shared room but pods made it feel as if I had my own room. Room super clean. Cleaners came through every day to clean communal areas.
Service amazing, very welcoming. Had a lock issue on arrival and it was sorted straight away. Organised a tour of pyramids (well worth it!).
Other guests were all friendly and welcoming.
THERE ARE BED FLEAS - PULGAS DE CAMA! - Unfortunately, I can't recommend staying at U-Co Roma. I was assigned the Mariana room, which has no windows and a musty smell. After two nights, I discovered several bed fleas and woke up with bites all over my body. I reported it immediately, but the response was dismissive and unhelpful. I also emailed them requesting a refund and never got a reply. A place with bed fleas is a serious health issue. I strongly advise against staying there.
Amazing Co-Living place! Perfect location. If you are looking for cool people, a social vibe and want to connect to other digital nomads you are in the perfect place. I would definitely come again
The best co-living space in Mexico City. You're in the heart of Roma Norte and within walking distance to some of the coolest restaurants, cafes, and nightlife. I stayed for a little over a week, which I think is the ideal amount of time to enjoy co-living, not too long and not too short. There were tenants who stayed well over a month and didn't complain. Speaking of the tenants, I met some really interesting people during my stay. If you're looking to stimulate your social skills, then you can't go wrong with this place.
Glance at this place's website, and 'youthful demographic' jumps out at you. I have not fit that demo for decades, but also wanted a social scene, a great location, and a private room. I booked a room, received my check in information via email--pass code to get in, another pass code for my room.
I found out right away that there was no on-site manager, nobody to complain to that my room had NO WINDOW! However, most guests were ad hoc collective caretakers of the place, and I was soon settled in, had a quick tour and an invite to dinner at an amazing taco place a few blocks away.
That led to an evening on the patio, sipping beverages and enjoying the company of the other guests. I found out that there were two housekeepers who worked each day, a seven hour shift, and that they would take care of any problems, and do your laundry for a fee.
Most people work remotely, so the place had a quiet buzz to it most of the day-that worked to help out with an impromptu orientation for new arrivals. There were also several bulletin boards-hot tips on local spots to eat, etc, a calendar of excursions and events, and a board to let the guests know who was arriving. I stayed five nights, had easy access to everything in the neighborhood and the city, and made a friend or two. Cheers!
