I had an amazing experience at VIU Coliving in Barcelona. The space is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel at home from day one. The combination of private living spaces, comfortable common areas, and a dedicated coworking space was perfect for balancing work and personal life. The weekly cleaning, fully equipped apartments, and all-inclusive utilities made everything incredibly convenient.
What really made VIU stand out was the community. It was easy to meet people from different countries, and the events and shared spaces created a welcoming atmosphere without feeling forced. The staff were always friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about making everyone's stay enjoyable.
The location is another huge plus—it's in a great neighborhood with excellent public transport, cafés, supermarkets, and many of Barcelona's main attractions nearby. Overall, VIU is an excellent choice for professionals, digital nomads, or anyone looking for a comfortable, social, and hassle-free place to live in Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again!
I lived in the coliving space and worked in the coworking space for two months... I’ll always recommend it for its comfort and location, but especially for the person who runs VIU (Nuria), who made my transition to Barcelona as smooth as it could possibly be!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at VIU Barcelona! Located in Eixample, one of the most ideal neighborhoods in the city, it’s right next to the Sagrada Familia — I even had a direct view from my room and woke up to it every morning.
The location is incredibly convenient, with the L2 and L5 metro lines less than a 3-minute walk away, as well as multiple bus stops nearby, making it very easy to get around the city.
The building itself is clean, well-maintained, and the rooms are consistently kept in great condition. The amenities are excellent, with strong internet, well-equipped shared spaces, and great co-working areas with plenty of room to work comfortably.
One of the highlights was the community — I met amazing people from around the world in such a short time. It really adds to the experience.
A special mention to Nuria, the community manager, who is fantastic. She’s responsive, approachable, and incredibly helpful — from navigating the city to handling logistics, she truly made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at VIU Barcelona and it will definitely be my go-to place whenever I’m in the city again. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed my stay at Viu Coliving and I’m already planning to return. The location is amazing—just a 3-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia, with plenty of shops and cafés right around the corner.
Nuria was incredibly supportive and communicative throughout my stay, which made everything smooth and comfortable. The team also creates a WhatsApp group for colivers where they share great recommendations around Barcelona, and they even organize activities like yoga classes, which I really appreciated.
The coworking spaces are very comfortable, with a dedicated coffee area, plus an additional coworking space on the rooftop with an incredible view overlooking the Sagrada Familia. I also loved that the keys are digital rather than physical, and the building feels extremely safe and secure.
Overall, a fantastic coliving experience—highly recommended!
This was really the perfect place to life in Barcelona during winter. The rooms a cozy and functional, the staff is great. My co-livers were interesting and open minded.
The location is really good, lots of restaurants around, but also shopping for groceries is good.
Especially awesome is the rooftop terrace right next to Sagrada Familia. Even in winter I was there almost every day!
Addendum:
In June, I spontaneously went back for a while A friend's plans in Barcelona had changed, and I suddenly found myself with plane tickets but no place to stay. And my stay just started during the week of the Primavera Festival, when it's almost impossible to find a hotel room.
The staff at VIU was extremly nice and rented me a room within very short notice for one additional month. I really love it here!
And yes, the rooftop is even better in June than in February ;-)

I really wish my time at VIU would have lasted longer! The location is really great, as 2 metro lines are super close but also there are so many lovely neighborhoods you can explore by foot. I also loved being so close to the Sagrada Família and seeing it daily. The CoWorking area is really nice and the CoLiving apartments are clean and functional. Nuria made me feel very welcome and cared for, she was always happy to help when questions came up.
VIU is perfect if you want to live and work in the same building in a cool neighborhood in Barcelona, and connect with other individuals who work remotely!
