The hotel rooms are tiny, the bed is wedged between 3 walls, the staff are very difficult to reach, the towels are changed every 4 days even though there is no space or towel dryer to dry them and I'm not talking about the fire alarm that went off at 6 a.m., a shame because the location is great.
After trying to contact the establishment several times I received no response. We arrived in the room and the surface area was not as in the photos, 2 very small bath towels available for 2 adults, the trash can was filled to the brim with waste, hair, papers... So I contacted reception to leave the premises and receive a refund from them but they never knew what to do, apart from trying to call their superior who was supposed to get back to us as quickly as possible because she was not responding to anyone; I'm still waiting for his return as planned (since 02/7/25)... It's just a huge lack of respect to make customers wait and not respond to our request!!
Following a problem with my reservation, I was unable to cancel the reservation because customer service was unreachable on several occasions. When I finally managed to get them, they were inflexible and not understanding of my situation. It’s a real shame because I wanted to find an amicable solution. I advise you to be very careful when making your reservations.
Pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the availability of the team allowed me not to stress about picking up the key, listened to my needs and was able to give me tips for visiting the surrounding area . The accommodation was very clean and as described. Too bad my rental was only short-term, I will come back for several months next time! I highly recommend!!
I can't describe how angry and disappointed I am with Babel community. I feel scammed as I payed 1900 euros for a room in a shared flat. I took the room for a month and couldn't stay more than two weeks because of a severe mold allergy. I informed the sales team before booking and they said it was renovated in 2019. The residence doesn't feel new at all. The shared space at my flat and my room were shabby and some things weren't fixed (door lock to the shared flat, chairs etc). I had mold in my bathroom and it smelled like mold in the 4th floor (last floor). Flatmates told me the residence is indeed very slow to respond and fix things. One of them had the bathroom door broken for a year now, and the other one had to put on the AC permanently because of a very bad smell (mold). I informed Babel of their mold problem but I had no reply for three weeks, until they responded simply that they will not reimburse me. I want to know what will become of my 800 euro deposit, I had no reply from your sales team. They also issued a wrong receipt, saying I payed 1400 euros instead of 1900... and no état de lieux d'entrée or sortie were done (my flatmates didn't have any either). Babel had recently increased their prices. My flatmates were paying 680 euros for a room but I had to pay 900 not including the additional administrative fees. You need to pay extra to use the co-working space and cleaning is not included either. Wifi was not working half of the time. As I am teaching online it was an awful experience. I informed the management and nothing was done about it. I had to book a hotel and find a different place to stay at, as I was very sick. Don't let the pretty pictures on the site fool you, it doesn't look like that in real life. If you look for a coliving where you'll meet lots of people it's not that kind of place. As Babel offers better prices for a long term stay people just use it as their home basically, not everyone is there for the "coliving" experience. It's needless to say that I'll never come back and that this place isn't worth a penny of your hard earned money. Avoid it at all costs. Airbnb is better and costs the same.
Babel Community is an exceptional coworking space! The atmosphere is very pleasant, the decoration is really pretty, and the large rooms with spacious tables and equipment such as television make it an ideal place to work. The atmosphere is calm and cocooning, perfect for concentrating. In addition, the staff is very welcoming. What really sets Babel Community apart is that it offers the perfect option to unwind after work. The tapas are plentiful and delicious, and you can choose to sit on the terrace or inside. It is a complete place where you can both work efficiently and relax. I highly recommend this versatile space to anyone looking for an exceptional coworking and relaxation experience. GI
Excellent: not cheap (but in Marseille it's hard), excellent apartment near the indigo car park. Large apartment equipped with all comforts and gym. Clean. Above two floors there is the roof restaurant which is definitely worth trying.
