Loved my stay at Bamboo Corner! Marie is a marvelous host, creating a magnificent environment and homey experience. The home it's conveniently located blocks away from the beach and an easy walk to la punta. Would definitely recommend to everyone who likes to get immersed in the local culture and surfing (the home provides surf boards that one can use)! Bamboo Corner is a magical place that's offers a grand opportunity to meet amazing people. ✨

I really liked the concept behind Bamboo Corner and the sense of community they are trying to create. It gives the place a warm, inclusive atmosphere that feels very welcoming. The owner is very nice, sometimes organizes events, and that was actually one of the main reasons I decided to stay. I also appreciated the common kitchen, which is well equipped and has everything you need. The location is another big plus: it is very close to the bars and main area, but still tucked away in a quiet space, which makes it a great balance. My room was comfortable and I slept well, and I had one of the rooms with a private bathroom, which was definitely a plus. That said, I found the room quite dark inside, and because of that I did not really enjoy spending time there. I also felt the place was a bit expensive for what it was, and for the price I paid I might have chosen to stay somewhere else. Overall, I still had a positive experience because of the atmosphere, the owner, and the community feeling of the place.

It's rare that a place has close to a perfect rating in Puerto Escondido, so I was intrigued! And my expectations were absolutely met. Casa Bambú is an amazing coliving. And note, there's a big difference between a hostel and a coliving! Here are all the great things: - the design of the house is incredible and everything is built from sustainable materials - the rooms are really spacious, there's a dedicated desk for work and decent starlink wifi that works on solar if power in Puerto goes out - the kitchen is well equipped - the location is great - people who stay are absolutely wonderful humans And most importantly the host, she is one of the friendliest and most caring people I've ever met! I am recommending Casa Bambú to all of my friends!

LOVED this amazing little bamboo co-living/boutique hostel. I've stayed many places in puerto, but this one has got to be my new favorite. Everything is carefully thought off (sustainable materials, ventilation, lightning, plenty of plugs and shelfs for your stuff. The rooms are spacious and free from bugs. And I love the vibe - very social and personal but not party feeling. It's perfectly located on the outskirts of La Punta, close enough to walk but away from noise. I will for sure be back:)

This is a beautiful bamboo heaven! Not only is Maria a wonderful person but her vibe is very much a special part of my stay. She really genuinely cares for the people who stay here and you can tell that the house and community here is built from her - she’s not a money centred host - she loves to share and help others. Also for me a huge plus is that it’s a women owned business and as a solo female traveler I felt really safe and at home here! Will 10000% be coming back!

I spent a week here and felt at home from day one. Marie is a wonderful host — welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. She regularly organises small gatherings for the guests, turning the stay into a social and friendly experience rather than just a place to sleep. The location is ideal: only 2 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the main restaurants and bars. I really recommend this place especially if you are a solo traveller!

Bambú Corner is by far one of the best places you can end up in Puerto Escondido. Perfect location, nearby the beach, a supermarket, and walkable to the main street of La Punta. The rooms are beautiful and aesthetic, the beds and pillows are comfortable. Yes, is a eco-friendly co-living and by that you need to adjust to certain lack of commodities, but is nothing that you can not survive. The community is amazing, Marie is an incredible host, care about their guests and the environment.

Our stay here was unforgettable. The space is beautiful, welcoming, and full of intention. Marie’s commitment to the environment and the local neighborhood is inspiring🫶🏼. You really feel like your stay supports something meaningful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Close to the busy part Punta, some coffee from the entrance coffeeshop and only a couple of steps away from the beach. Pure joy (including some dog and cat love😍). Recommended 100%
