🧐  short staysAirBnb and nightly stays · Fine for a workation, but significant turnover goes against coliving principles supporting a cohesive community of residents, employing a minimum stay to better exchange amongst each other. What is coliving?

On the seas there were many calypso boats, but Belafonte was in fact the father of Calypso… Our ‘boat’ is specially designed for digital nomads and remote workers. Find perfect balance between rest, privacy, social life, city nightlife, nature adventures and caribbean sea for a happy life.

I recently stayed at Belafonte Coliving, and it was an exceptional experience! The staff is incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home from day one. The internet is fast and reliable, which was perfect for my remote work needs. The workspaces are well-designed and comfortable, providing an ideal environment for productivity. The communal areas are also great for relaxing and socializing with other residents. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming and efficient coliving space.
Cool vibes, cool people, cool common spaces. We were only there for one night, but if we were living in Colombia long-term this is definitely where we’d stay. Common spaces and activities for all guests to enjoy.
Had such a great time staying at Belefante! Amazing rooms, workspaces, rooftop with a view and community. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Santa Marta
I had a great time at this cool co-living near the beach in Santa Marta. The rooms are very comfortable and the ambience is relaxed but efficient. There’s a rooftop pool to cool off and a bar so you can watch some amazing sunsets with a cold beer. Every week there are activities to join in, from dance classes to hikes and snorkeling. I’m working while I travel and I appreciated the excellent co working space with air con and good wifi. Would definitely return.
If I could give this place 20 stars, I would! How do I begin? Well let me begin by saying that I booked a room here for 1 month and ended up staying 2.5 months...and the only reason I left is because there were no more rooms available. That's how good it is. First of all, it's the vibe. It has a chilled, be-yourself, natural vibe. It's not a party hostel but there are still colivers who come together to have dinners, breakfasts and chat. We have community dinners sometimes and also group exercises like yoga or going for a hike on the beach. There depend on how many colivers are interested so it's like going with the flow. The facilities are the best in santa marta, hands down. Hot water in the showers, big rooms, wifi, AC, generators for when there are electricity cuts, big kitchen, swimming pool, huge terasse to chill and watch the sunset, and another smaller terrase as well to enjoy. The service from the staff is out of this world. They are so friendly and at the same time, so professional. They are like family to Paola and they are like family to me too. I loved being around them and sharing my cuisines and stories with them. Omg this place was awesome. If you read this far, just go ahead and book it. You won't regret it. Thank you Belafonte for the experience 🥹❤️.
I don't even know where to begin on rating this place! I've stayed in Coliving places all over the world and I can safely say that this is up there as one of the best. Firstly, the vibe that Paola has created is amazing. It was so relaxing and really easy to meet likeminded people in a similar work situation. I made some friends for life in this place. There is a lovely kitchen that is fully equipped, it even has an air fryer, juicer and coffee machine, so there is nothing that you miss from home. It's also cleaned daily so it's very lovely to cook in. Paola suggests weekly activities to bring the guests closer together, such as yoga on the terrace, nights out in Santa Marta and afrobeat dancing on the roof. Secondly, the rooms. I've never slept in such a comfortable bed in my life and am seriously considering having one of their mattresses shipped from Colombia to the UK 😂 There is air-con which is a wonderful relief from the heat of Santa Marta. The shower is divine and there is ample space to put your things so you're not living out of a suitcase. I work online for 6-7 hours everyday. I never had an issue with the Internet and all my Zoom calls went ahead with no interruptions and there was a big desk for me comfortably use all my necessary equipment. Paola herself is a wonderful person. She cares passionately about her guests and her priority is ensuring that everyone has a relaxed stay. I would recommend this place a million % and have told everyone I meet about it. Thank you so much for making our stay magical. We were supposed to stay for 2 weeks and ended up staying for a month and honestly, I could have stayed for months more.
