Made it to the final round of Build3 Cohort 8 and left disappointed. The biggest issue was the in-person vs remote divide. The Goa bootcamp was where the real value seemed to happen — mentors, networking, visibility, and informal conversations. If you weren't there physically, it felt like you were playing a different game. The program was marketed as 8 weeks but ran closer to 5. Sessions often lacked moderation and were frequently dominated by a few people self-promoting. Despite reaching the Bar Raisers round, I received almost no meaningful engagement or feedback. What frustrated me most was being told I lacked a wedge when the core wedge of my startup was clearly documented in the material they asked founders to prepare. For anyone applying: despite the messaging, this did not feel like an idea-stage accelerator. My idea actually emerged during the cohort. The startups that appeared to benefit most already had significant traction, revenue, or momentum. Looking at funded companies, the bar for funding seems much higher than the marketing suggests. The documentation burden is heavy, feedback is limited, and the flagship program itself costs upwards of ₹40,000. Accommodation for the Goa component was not covered either, which adds up quickly for early-stage founders. The community also felt less collaborative than advertised. Warm intros required chasing coordinators and most outreach went unanswered unless you already had something valuable to offer. This was my experience only. Before applying, I'd suggest reviewing previous cohorts, looking at the backgrounds and traction levels of funded startups, and deciding whether you're actually the profile Build3 is optimizing for.

had a great experience with great people that have designed and created so much beauty inside and outside. I feel in tune with this kind of young new Energy that is transforming the old Paradigm into a New possible world. I have seen many new confident ideas inline with my Values and a wider spectrum of higher Values for a better healthy Lifestyle in simplicity. I have had the opportunity of tasting every day different delicious homemade healthy meals thanks to the ability of the cooks that use home grown healthy products. The place is quite full of Peace and Harmony

One of the best places in Goa to have an intellectually stimulating fun break. Location at Candolim beach, clean affordable stay, opportunities to experience work as fun, meet new inspiring people and learn new world work ethics where work meets vacation. Love everything about it. If u go there don’t miss to play the most interesting board games!!

I stayed for 1,5 month at build3. Awesome place for making connections to founders and to work or study. Great vegan food and I say this as a non veg. Very fast internet and just one minute away from the beach. Everyone can visit this place, it's not necessary to be a guest. If you are a founder or digital nomad, that's your place in Goa to be!

So happy we found this place in Candolim ❤️Beautiful and very well maintained space, amazing and kind team and community, and great food! Bonus: the beach is 1 min walk from the backyard 👀If you’re a digital nomad or an entrepreneur that happens to be in Goa, this place is a must. Loved our time here at build3 and made friends that we plan on visiting again soon!

The last one week for me has been filled with quite an enriching experience. Both personally and professionally. Made some amazing people with great ideas and the knowledge sharing started right from the day 1! Loved the workshops designed to help budding entrepreneurs in their overall personality development. Wish I could stay longer and continue learn and have fun at work at the same time. Wish you all fulfilling journey ahead and strength to continue what you have started! Until next time! Cheerio!! 🍻
