Before we decided to stay at Casa Pardal, my partner and I were nomading around in cities and wanted a break from the hustle and bustle, so we thought we’d try out rural life. This was our first time trying out a coliving too, and we weren’t sure what to expect, but it didn’t disappoint! We spent 6 weeks here, enjoying the relaxing pace of rural life. Waking up in a comfy bed to bird song in the morning, lounging in the sun after lunch (with a little vermut), and evening walks through the countryside was just what we needed. We met amazing people and had a lot of fun with them making meals together, hiking around the area, painting, baking bread, exploring the nearby villages, and venturing off to another coliving party, a festival, and even a spontaneous trip to Valencia for a couple days because another coliver just happened to be headed there and we hadn’t been yet. We made some wonderful friends and beautiful memories, and we would highly recommend anyone looking to try out a rural coliving to stay at Casa Pardal. Thank you James, Monica, and Neli for creating such a delightful experience! Looking forward to visiting you again when we return to Spain :)

I spent a few days at Casa Pardal and enjoyed every minute of it. Monica and James make you feel completely welcome and ensure your comfort and well-being throughout your stay. l'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the tranquility of a rural area and a cozy house. I hope to return soon. (L)

I recommend this to anyone, go stay at Casa Pardal. They welcomed me and my dog last minute. The house is beautiful, the room was spotless and everyone was so welcoming. The location is breathtaking. Well organized with weekly activities and dinners. This place felt like a paradise after a few hard weeks of travel. I already miss it and wish to go back. Monica and James are wonderful hosts. I have nothing but great things to say. This was my first Coliving experience and it will be hard to beat. Thank you for having me Monica and James, I hope to see you again at Casa Pardal one day! 😊

I spent a few weeks in December at Casa Pardal and it was genuinely a wonderful and cozy time. Monica and James (and Nelli 🐾 ) are amazing hosts and have created a lovely home where one can embrace the slower rhythm of life. We ended up sharing many simple but real, fun moments together - going to the farmers market, cooking delicious meals, painting, knitting and enjoying the food and the sun. Casa Pardal is a place to slow down, explore creativity and enjoy all the dog cuddles 🐾

I stayed here for 5 weeks from April to May and absolutely loved the time. The location is special - a beautiful old villa with real character, surrounded by nature and great walks right on the doorstep. Each room has it's own charm and is full of personality. Monica and James are fantastic hosts - always creating a sense of community and making things happen, whether that’s cultural trips, days out in nature, fitness session at the house or just bringing people together throughout the week. It felt more like a shared experience than just a place to stay. Thanks for everything guys - can’t wait to return and see you all again!

I truly enjoyed my time at Casa Pardal this summer! Monica and James are wonderful hosts, genuine and fun to be around. I’m a total fan of Monica’s yoga classes and James’s focaccia. From painting to beautiful runs, wood carving, sardinada, Greek dinners, creative writing, tarot reading, and wine tasting, the place is full of creativity and conviviality. And their adorable dog, Nelly, adds so much cuteness to it all.

Nice old house with thick stone walls. Lovely people. Internet is workable but could be improved. Monica & James are very nice and easy going hosts, starting this coliving and are open to suggestions. Is it somewhat remote so make sure you have a car (or use one of the available (small) bikes). Also: if you don't like rural farm smells... Depending on the wind you can smell the nearby pig farm or manure on the land, but of what I've heard this is less during summertime when there are crops on the fields and the farmes don't sprtead the manure on the land.

An absolute gem for remote work and recharging! This coliving/coworking space is set in a beautiful old castle in the middle of nature, surrounded by wheat fields—yet it’s super easy to reach by train from Barcelona. The setting is tranquil and inspiring, with fast Wi-Fi and great workspaces that make it easy to stay productive (I even got tasks done that I had been postponing for months on end!) Weekly yoga and a communal dinner, fresh eggs from their own chickens, and bread-making add even more wow to the place! What really makes the place special though is Monica and James. They’ve created a warm, welcoming space with so much care and attention to detail. It’s the perfect escape from the city—calm, community-driven, and full of heart. Highly recommended for digital nomads, creatives, artists or anyone needing a peaceful place to focus and recharge. Do yourself a favour and stop by, you won’t regret it
