An absolute gem for remote work and recharging! This coliving/coworking space is set in a beautiful old castle in the middle of nature, surrounded by wheat fields—yet it’s super easy to reach by train from Barcelona. The setting is tranquil and inspiring, with fast Wi-Fi and great workspaces that make it easy to stay productive (I even got tasks done that I had been postponing for months on end!) Weekly yoga and a communal dinner, fresh eggs from their own chickens, and bread-making add even more wow to the place! What really makes the place special though is Monica and James. They’ve created a warm, welcoming space with so much care and attention to detail. It’s the perfect escape from the city—calm, community-driven, and full of heart. Highly recommended for digital nomads, creatives, artists or anyone needing a peaceful place to focus and recharge. Do yourself a favour and stop by, you won’t regret it
We spent two weeks in Casapardal and were absolutely enchanted. The bedroom with en suite shower room was very comfortable. The house is very well equipped and offers plenty of space for private work or rest. The area offers lots of opportunities for walking and cycling. The hosts are charming, helpful and very interesting. I strongly recommend it. Thank you James and Monica
We spent one week this early spring at Casa Pardal with my partner, and I can’t recommend it enough. For us, it was the perfect blend: a chance to change scenery and work from a place that offers an amazing opportunity to fully focus. It was so quiet and comfortable, which made it easy to stay productive. At the same time, we loved the sense of disconnection we could enjoy outside of work. The house is set in such a beautiful countryside, and it’s a really charming old building. Plus we loved how it was decorated and how much comfort it provided at the same time. :) What I should have started with, though, is that the hosts are simply amazing people. They’re creating such a special community here. Every day there were options for what to do, and we always felt so welcome. We really fueled up on good energy! Huge thanks to Monica and James for this beautiful experience they’re curating.
I spent three weeks in this wonderful place and left with unforgettable memories. Our hosts provided us with incredible experiences, from strolling through the weekly market in Calaf to hiking at Boixadors Castle or Montserrat. The Hockney-esque landscapes surrounding the house are a true oasis for mental and physical rejuvenation. Monica's yoga classes and James' bread-making sessions added to the charm of the stay, making me leave with a fulfilled and enriched soul. Monica and James are extraordinary hosts—genuine people who made my stay truly authentic 💕💐 There are so many other reasons to choose this place, but some things can’t be put into words, it’s just a vibe.
I stayed two weeks in Casa Pardal and really enjoyed it. I appreciate the effort and vision that Monica and James have for this be a co-living that gives you the opportunity to interact with the local community and not just stay within a bubble. During my time here I really enjoyed many activities; several yoga classes a week, learning how to make bread from scratch, as well as some drawing classes. There were also bikes that you could borrow and it was easy to bike into town. Thanks for a great stay Monica and James!
